@@seangreenwood8331 my advise is put it in an easy location as close to the inlet of thr fuel filter. However ideally you want to find the fault ( usually an air leak) and sort it out. But, I know that’s not always the easy case so yeh that’s my advise here. :)

How can I contact you directly I have this van , it cranks and didn’t start even after bleeding. I am based in Nigeria and sadly none of this local mechanic are well skilled enough to fix the van, they were recommending me to convert the van to manual injectors . I ran out of diesel few days ago and it stalled and I couldn’t start it so I loosen the nut on the injectors and start the van it released lots of black smoke after raving it. I got home and the following morning while I was driving it, I noticed loud cranking noise as I was driving up hill then it went away and I also discovered it was underpowered . After I got back home I revved it hard again then I switched it off I went back in and came back out and tried it start it again, it cranked and never started , since then we have tried everything possible best it just cranked and doesn’t start

@@PremierLuzuryLifestyle hello, it sounds like you may have got the pump or pressure relief valve damaged. These always have problems after running out of fuel. Do you have easy start or brake cleaner ? Can try very very small squirts of that and see if that gets it running. If not; bleed the diesel so you know yoy have plenty of pressure ( or take fuel filter off and fill it with diesel ) and try again with the easy start or brake cleaner. ( again very small sprays, don’t spray too much in) Really you need to get it on a good OBD2 reader to find out your fuel pressures and thr like, do you have access to this?

@@Super0161 hello, I would start with fuel pressure relief valve if euro 4…. They have a small ball inside them and when it shifts it’ll struggle to build fuel pressure until running !

@@Super0161 that being said make sure you do all free checks before buying any parts at all !:)

@@channelofmadness3182 thank you. what’s best way to check the prv and do you have to learn this part is it juts plug and play ? Many thanks
@channelofmadness31826 ай бұрын
@@Super0161 best way to check is to plug it in and see if the fuel pressures are matching. You’d expect to see 2500+ PSI in a matter of seconds and no more than 9000 psi on crank. A bottle of redex and a good drive can clear dirt from the valve itself Also

@@Super0161 sorry for the late reply bud, ive been manically busy... Pressure releif valve is best monitored by either plugging in and seeing your fuel pressure or just understanding how these systems work. You can very very very occasonally get away with fitting a new one and doing sod all else, but i strongly advise a learn after fitting. and if your going genuine and want the van to last, may aswell fit new SCV too. and even the pressure sensor if your feeling that kinda way haha
