what rod?
@mylurebox6 жыл бұрын
Dani Playz I was using lower end entry rods for the vid. 2-4kg Catana by Shimano and a 7’ flueger trion ;)

Hey mate, thanks for the reply, Im going to get a high end rod for bream fishing on the flats with lures( 7 foot, 1-3 or 4kilo). Im not sure on which rod I should get, I also only have 300$to spend? any suggestions?

There’s so many options out there to look at. The weight and length you’re looks big at is spot on. I’d go for something with a little bit of stick in the main section of the blank so you can cast further over the flats but with a soft tip so your not pulling hooks as it shoots over the shallows. The trions might be worth looking at. I don’t know if the dobyns fury series do something but their blanks are legit and around that mark. Hope that helps.

What weight is the crab
@mylurebox5 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure they come in 2 weights still. I like the lighter one and from memory it’s 3.9grams. The heavier one is 5.9

Any lure fished on the bottom which has treble hooks is going to be hung up almost immediately

Tend to agree there's a massive potential for hang ups here. If you can target pontoons and marinas where you can see the bottom is clear it'd be hugely helpful. Or if you're in a boat or kayak you could most likely free yourself up by moving around the snag. But yeah, largely agree the hang ups using this crab is highly possible and they're expensive!
