It was still pretty rough from Helene. It's gotten a lot better now though. I am so used to the clear to light stain but this was a prefect day to work on muddy waters.

Sorry man, I didn't know I missed a message. I am keeping an eye for emails too. It's hard to beat the crankbait shallow right now. Bass are hungry and moving up. We did man. We took some property damage but nothing like so many others. I know you are going to be super busy out there driving for a few weeks. You be safe out there Mack.

I killed em on the Flint river this past Wednesday.. caught 11 shoal bass.. 8 were caught on a rapala shad rap shad jerkbait.. 3 were caught on a black Zoom speed worm, texas rigged... the shoals were scary, and ½ the time I imagined myself flipping and losing everything.. but I didn't, and it was definitely an adventure.!

Love a good jerkbait bite. Oh I bet they were wild and flowing. Hartwell is just now starting to look normal again.
