I have a Ford focus 2004 1.6 16v petrol. Lately i have this faultcode P0303 Misfire in cilinder 3. Now i have changed the spark plugs, coilpack, leads, injector, and still the same. Would a failing crankshaft sensor cause this kind of problem?

Misfire may also be mechanical NON electric spark or electric injector or ECU control methods...misfire may also be due to fuel pressure or regulator......but most mechanical appears to be Valve..exhaust then intake...or carbon interference ..heat or hot spots due to air pocket from coolant improper complete bleeding of......and sometimes that heat can drop loose a Valve seat usually exhaust....proper interference fit assembly SEAT press fitted with LIP LAP or ...PINNING a SEAT to secure...I wish they used titanium tied Allen SET SCREWS....my Genious method to set SEATS....

Thanks for the useful info ! The cause was in my case mechanical, a stuck valve due to a worn engine..
