I'm in California and one of things I have noticed about Southern States is just how Dirty the Water is compared to California Water. Out here in the West the Water is much Cleaner. But Fishing is Fishing.

You're welcome. Yes I believe catfish will be a lot better eating fish too. I actually started filleting catfish with a electric knife. Makes it pretty quick and easy.

It's a lake that is fed by the river when the water levels are really high. It is an old river lake.

Thank you. I have used both And I prefer Mr. crappie fishing line because of that reason. It seemed to have less tangles than vicious line.

Yes, I know a lot of people who like eating a Gar. They have a hard shell you have to cut through to get to the meat but they say they are good eating.
