Definitely, fall and winter is probably the best time of year , as summer they are heavily pressured

I live in independence and perfer the drive to Smithville over fishing Blue Springs Lake. Smithville is 7200 acres compared to Jacomo or Longview at 970 and 930 acres. I'd definitely check it out!
