Those big-name fishermen on TV don't have nothing on you! The difference is they are too sophisticated to go crazy at the end of their show! HA! HA!. I have learned a lot more from you. With the TV guys, you just watch them catch fish. With you, you explain how to catch fish. Keep up the great content.

Richard because of the knowledge you have given us I have been catching Crappie when everyone else up here is having trouble on Norris Lake in Tennessee. Now I was gonna mention to you a rod and reel that I have as my go to. My main Spinning reel is a 2500 Lews Mach 1 and a Lews 7ft Light Mach 1. It’s a little on the limber side but I like it. And that person that went by you in that big boat has zero respect on the water. And Richard God Bless you and the family. And like I always say. God loves you and so do I.

Hello, Richard . Another nice fishing trip. But, even if they're not biting, still a good day. I'm always glad when your videos pop up. First i hit the like button, then read your scripture, then sit back and watch a good fishin video. I truly hope that you know how much your videos mean to those of us that follow you. Alwaysva good show, lots of tips and shared knowledge. Been waiting for Mama Sue to get out there again. Forgive me, but everytime I think of her on your show, i think of ya'lls creek fishing trip where she fell down in the water. Again, forgive me, but i laughed then and everytime since when i think about it. I hope i was laughing with her, not at her. She handled it well, but I'm sure she was not a happy fisherwoman about then. Please give her a big hug and tell her she does haveca fan base out here as well. God bless yall and stay safe on your travels to these fishing adventures. I pray ya'll will have a great Thanksgiving.

Thank God for you RGTFM you prove that you dont need expensive rods & reel just to put fish in the boat. Your setups are always so simple but your knowledge is second to none in my opinion making crappie bite even when they not active most fisherman would have called it a bad day but not you never a bad day fishing you just need the knowledge & simple tackle to catch fish. God Bless You Richard & thanks for teaching.

That was a very knowledgeable toutourledge, I'm trying to get all I can for this Columbus Ohio Winter. I saw a man catch Crappie over and over. And I was just casting and casting, he came over and spoke to me when he was leaving. He asked me two questions, how deep was I, and how far out was I? I told him, and he told me to adjust both, less than a minute, I had one hooked. I'm not a smart fisherman, I just "LOVE," fishing, and I Thank You, for being simple, and to the point. Also, for the bank fishing videos, not all of us are blessed to have "any," type of boat💯👍🏾. Thank You.

I'm SO glad to see you paying attention to things made in the USA.....I've been doing the same thing for the last 6 years and I wish I had started way earlier. If MOST people in the USA would buy things made in the USA we'd be in much better shape, even if it costs a little more, ethically it's the right thing to do when it comes to helping our own people in the country because we can't compete with sweat shops overseas which is the ONLY reason why things are cheaper from other countries. we should ALWAYS support companies in our own country regardless if it costs a little more!

Mono much better for panfishing .. braid handles better with less tangles and better feel, but way to stiff ( no give) .The fish you caught were barely hooked because when you set the hook there was no give….with mono the built in stretch allows the Crappie to take the bait better when you set the hook….another disadvantage with braid is that it is much louder underwater. Go back and fish that same area with your 4lb. High vis mono and same baits, and note the difference. Thanks for all the years of fantastic and fun videos. Rob

richard do u find the crappie bite to typically very tough on foggy mornings or days? its the same in my area, scattered, finnicky fish,, when the water temp gets in the low 50s they should start concentrating deeper with the shad, or go very shallow in creeks.

Guess what I'm wanting to know if they both get in skinny water or out wide about the same in relation to temp on top. Hey Man thanks for everything you do in order to give us all a very informative in-depth fishing channel to come too and enjoy. The easiest way to tell is by the dots. The dots on a black crappie don’t really have a pattern, they just all over his back, and the dots on a white crappie run in vertical lines from top to bottom like stripes.
