That's what I was thinking, too. The hair looks great on the side view and back view, but the front view looks off. I think it's probably because her head is small or narrow that the big hair doesn't fit quite right with this particular model of Tawna.

I really wish they kept her original skull shape. She seems too human. I don't mind alt-universe Tawna's hair on a Nitro-Fueled Tawna's face. But this mod is still really neat.

I wish they would’ve had a nitro fuel or insane trilogy skins from the beginning of the game. They had all these other skins and even different character model skins. This way it would’ve kept the continuity between the trilogy and the cart racer as well as the continuity from one of the cuttings they showed for the insane trilogy in crash four

@@paladinheadquarters7776 me too my friend.. the new one is fine. Even if it was amazing, which I don’t think it is, it affects the continuity! Anyone who says it doesn’t is objectively wrong. It affects the continuity just as much if they recast Iron Man before avengers endgame from Robert Downey Jr. to Tom Cruise or somebody else. I really hate what direction they went with Tawnas character as well.I thought there was a disappointingly small amount of hidden areas like they had and crash bandicoot two cortex strikes back. They had a really small amount of cut scenes in character in your actions. Aku aku was barely a character!

I don't hate the Crash 4 design but I still think the N.sane trilogy/CTR:NF version is the best when it comes to HD version of the original design. I would have thought that one of the first mod for this game would be the N.Sane trilogy design for both Crash & Coco (and even Tawna). With all the alt in CTR that would be awesome.

Wow! Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time has mod in the PC version, same thing as Spyro Reignited Trilogy has mod in the PC version. And I really love love the PlayStation 1 graphic skin mod for Crash in the PC version of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, same thing that I love the PlayStation 1 graphic skin mod for Spyro in the PC version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Because I love PlayStation in stuff. 🙂

That classic crash mod is perfect its everything the classic skin should be Though the creator of the mod should have used crash 3 warped mug icon with crashes tounge sticking out instead of the life icon in crash 1 2 and 3 that's my only complaint and it's very minimal one at that Fantastic work the mod community is awesome.

0:50 - Doubt. N.Sane Crash is even better. It is the closest you get in terms of remastering a pile of outdated polygon from the glorius days of the PlayStation. The same goes to crates (gosh I HATE Crash 4's crates. Too cartoony. Nothing in Crash should be THAT much cartoony imo. I still can't understand what was wrong with N.Sane? It's like how Crash should looks like HD in the first place! Just look at Banjo-Kazooie in Smash! I lost my mind when I see them! The Smash team didn't used the Bolts n Nuts look of them (because... it's a pile of shit...?)) 1:45 - This... so cute ;-; Classic Tawna is awesome as well. I'm amazed those mods tbh

Well they did alter her personality a bit in Crash N Sane Trilogy and was taken full force in CTR Nitro Fueled to be a bit more of a rebel and actually tried to fight her way out of Cortex's clutches and it could be possible in the Tawna bonus rounds that she actually escaped with Cortex swooping in to take her back to the castle, it's likely Cortex must've allowed her to escape to have her as Bait for the Bandicoot, luring him into more dangerous areas.

Her personality in Nitro-Fuelled showed promise that she is more than a damsel in distress. Whether her original self would ever be used again in future mainline installments is up in the air at this point. ...also, I personally prefer her AU version.

Yeah... no. Seriously, read the Wombat Bible. Universal already considered it hard canon for a lot of the backstory behind a few characters (namely Cortex), and it puts A LOT of context behind Tawna's character into retrospect. Trust me. She was never truly the damsel in distress to begin with.

@@ClankZappa85 yeah that too, I actually have the Crash Files ScrapBook that has that detail along with others and yeah I do think N Sane Trilogy Tawna has a great chance of showing up in a future Crash Installment, possibly just to have Her and Her Alt Self meet up for even just a gag, cause that Tawna is a elephant in the room when they put Alt Tawna in the game and revealed her.

@@bobafett4265 Ah! So you know what I'm talking about then. If anything, when you apply the Wombat Bible to Tawna's character, Fridge brilliance starts to kick in. Ever notice how in both endings you NEVER see Crash free Tawna. In the basic ending after Cortex's direct defeat, Tawna is the one who goes to Crash on top of the blimp. He never freed her from any sort of cell as she seemed to be already freed to begin with. And adding to the Fridge Brilliance; During the Cortex battle, all of Castle Cortex is on fire. The Bible mentioned that during the majority of her "captivity", Tawna inspired the rest of the (unseen) evolved animals to start a revolt against the evil scientist (Headcanon Alert: She more than likely persuaded Pinstripe to change his blind allegiance to the "Don of Doctors". His newly reformed self and their possible chemistry may have been the catalyst to them falling for each other) . That burning castle was more than likely THEIR doing, seeing as we never saw Crash cause any kind of significant destruction that would have led to such an event occurring. And in the "Extra" Ending, we STILL never see Crash actually freeing her. She's right there with the buzzard in tow, waiting for HIM to arrive so they can flee the castle together.

I'm reading in the comments that alot of people miss his original iconic design now. Literally I've been saying this since before the game came out and everyone would yell at me and said I was crazy. I'm glad to see it was just the honeymoon phase talking. honestly I feel part of the reason why crash 4 sold so poorly is because the characters look different. I would have bought crash 4 day one if he looked like the original but in HD but I still havent bought it to this day.
