Most auto insurance carriers will no longer insure KIA and Hyundai vehicles made between 2011 and 2019. That means care loans cannot be taken out on them either because loans require insurance. So that leaves us with about 3.4 million vehicles in the US alone left to steal and commit crimes with and 3.4 million vehicles that cannot be resold except for cash only.

Makes sense when stealing cars are allowed, it would be the best tool to use to break down a heavy, locked doors. I wonder if commercial insurances in California have stopped insuring retail thefts and car thefts. If not, i bet they're close to having these as exclusion in the policies like hurricane and wildfires where it's a separate package.

Those shops aren't making as much as you think they are, $500-$1,000 EVERY DAY for security would be about 25%-30% of their daily profit. They'd have to increase prices.

Would it be legal for police officer's to pull over Kia's late at night or early morning ? Once pulled over the police can check out the people in the car, check to see if the car is stolen etc.
