After wasting 5 houts trying to get the platinum....i realized you are supposed to use the death route (the one where you have to not die to take) and it suddenly becomes easy.

You only have to dodge one nitro box,one automatic smasher,one presure smasher (you know the things that mush you under them) and 2 hedgehogs that you can kill before they become invincible. Then take an aku aku mask and spam that circle till the end of the freaking route (of course you have to already have 2 aku aku masks and not take damage at all during the whole stage). I felt so embarassed that i didn't figure that out till after 5 freaking hours xD.

Iraklis Pazios wooow that's crazy man haha! I would gice that a try but if i'm honest i can't be bothered seeing as you don't need Platinum Relics for anything lol. If you find out how to get Gold or higher on Hanging Out please let me know because i honestly can't find anyway of making up 10 seconds!

Me too man... Me too. They really don't fit the Stages in Crash 2 , they weren't designed for this.

EatmyPiles exactly, imo the only time relics worked was with CTR and CNK which are both racing games and not platformers

I wish they didn't exist at all. I hate time trials. I never liked them in any of the Crash games.

Maybe this can help somebody: Try to get 3 aku aku masks, isn't easy but will help you a lot. So, you have to get the 2 mask (0:04 and 0:45), then take the death route (0:50), since this is not in the video, here is not that hard, first you have to jump a nitro box and get pass 2 death traps, then is a free way until you get and ice floor again, here just dash to kill 2 enemies and you find a 3rd aku aku box and run (of course this if you not lose a mask before), when you end this part you will see another aku aku box, wait until you back to "normal", get the mask and run again, you eventually return to "normal" but this is near the end and still 2 masks left. Doing this i get 1:42:00 so you have time to spare and take it slowly in some parts.

Thanks for this, as mentioned already in the comments, try to save your aku aku and take the death route. I saved 30 seconds off my original time 👍

0:45 You can skip the jump here with slide spin jump and get plat relic, no death route needed. It's hard without losing the mask though.

because they think that the gold one is the best, if the best is the platinum one, by the way, you will overlook many time boxes
