Lewis' stunned silence after getting the Platinum for Bear Down was priceless! I forgot that Polar can destroy the electric gates by only hitting the pylon and not the electricity itself. Yeah, the upcoming Warp Rooms are where the Platinum Relics _really_ start heating up! Best of luck to Lewis! He's going to need a mental break after completing these ones!

My tips for the upcoming levels. Hanging out = Use slidejump from ledge to reach the monkeybar. It will save much time Bee levels = easy, no need for tip. Oh actually use slide-spin on the digging platforms. Otherwise it will bury you. Cold hard crash = USE THE DEATH ROUTE. Ruination = another easy forgettable one.

Diggin’ It is one of the easiest in crash 2, if you just fly through it you can beat the time by like 20 seconds. If you’re slow you can still get platinum.

Congrats on clearing Warp Room 3, you're well-versed enough on Crash 2 Time Trial. For Warp Room 4 though, Good luck. Quick tip on Hangin' Out if the obstacle cycle on the hanging section seems weird for you, you can sacrifice Aku - Aku to skip some portion of the monkey bars to save time.

Just a tip. The plat times are hard, but you don't need to be perfect to get them. I think that you are raging that much because you're trying to be as flawless as humanly possible even though you didn't finish the level yet. Idk if it's useful, but I usually aimed at sapphire first, then after finishing the level, I planned a route and aimed at gold. And a lot of times the times I tried for gold I got plat. Like, in Crash 2 the plat times are much more forgiving then you are imagining.

Good work on those last 2 times and completing the first 3 warp rooms, there's 2.4 to go (.4 is the bonus room with 2 levels), so you're officially over halfway done with Crash 2 platinums. You're definitely improving as a whole when it comes to Crash 2 relics, as your slides are getting quicker, your utilisation of techs and boosting is getting better, and you're becoming more consistent generally. Your fears of Warp Room 4 are justified though, as just like you've been told, Hangin' Out, Ruination, and Cold Hard Crash are some of the most frustrating levels in the game. Hangin' Out is a medium-length level with possibly the tightest time in the game (Worse than Snow Go), with crucial-for-platinum tedious cycles, barrages of obstacles, specific Aku damage boosts, and very tight jumps. Ruination is like Road to Ruin, but WAAAY worse. It has annoying and confusing cycles, multiple strategies for damage boosting, annoying jumps and enemies, and it's just really long for how the level is. But the time is VERY lenient. Cold Hard Crash is probably gonna be the worst Ice level for you, and has either a very strict or reasonable time, depending on if you take the Death Route (Which you definitely should, it's way faster and less annoying) or not. The beginning is very annoying like Snow Go, the enemies are everywhere, and the end is much longer. Also you'll probably need Triple Aku for the Death Route. Good luck on them, Lewis, and I'll update you on the next levels, next time.

Whenever you do the later polar riding levels I would highly recommend as someone who has fully platinumed the entire trilogy. Do not jump over the scientists, always jump over/go under the blocks they are holding. The actual scientists holding the ice blocks have stupidly tall hitboxes, so just like the seals you will hit them even when you are no where near them. It’s more safer to go above or below the ice blocks since they have a more consistent hitbox

Ye, if you haven't realized yet you can actually destroy the Electric Barrier on the polar part, you just need to ran over the gates/side, and the hitbox for that are pretty big as well

As an advise, similar to when you slide jump on normal levels that you can kinda slide out of the platform and still make a jump, that will be MASSIVE to help you on the last polar level with reduced sight (cant remember the name right now)

Trick in hangin out, you can time it with the electric ell from the start of the level, it make the hanging section much easier cycle

That’s not me saying they are ez though. They aren’t. The N. Gin Warp Room was a pain for me, though. Same with Cortex’s. And yeah, the bear levels are actually annoying sometimes with the relics. The timing of everything is frustrating in those levels for the relics. Again, it doesn’t feel quite optimized for the relics when you go super-duper fast. Hangin’ Out sucks for the relic time…

Please don't slide spin while you're inside the end tunnel. Just run down it regularly. Slide spinning there just makes it slower. I'm not sure how many people told you slide spinning is faster, but I can promise you it isn't. You might cost yourself a platinum if you keep doing that.
