Bro as a kid in 2001 I always thought that space bash is my favorite, I love the aesthetics and that the floor breaks whenever you throw an explosive on it so it kinda makes it a battle platformer

My favorite memory of this minigame was from the demo in Spyro 3, using the hidden debug menu I turned off the enemy ai and timer and tried to destroy all the ground in the arena

I haven't watched the stream video as I'm only only #4 yet but I've heard it was not a nice experience. I actually think I took longer with my attempts which I can proudly admit to. 3 wins in a row against very rigged opponents is pure hell.

What makes this game hard isn't even the challenges or playing against the "champions". It's the fact that they gang up on you 3v1 and their hidden buffs which are never mentioned (moving faster, recieve less damage, too heavy to push and insane reflexes on the ball minigames). You get rid of these and some difficulty will remain but the adventure mode becomes a lot more accessible. Having smarter AI on the relics without the hidden buffs would have been cool to see and more satisfying to obtain them.

There's no denying it, I've witnessed it all in my 200% that I've been streaming. The champions are rigged in to just be unfair and make the player have a hard time all the time.

Silly Lewis... doesnt even realize that platinum relics values dont even come close to the highest value/difficulty in the game. I've learned from a very very close to release prototype of PAL version of the game, that only has some language being incomplete and whatnot as entire game is finalized. And to my shock, indeed, the values dont come close to the highest possible. Only for few of them. 0020 Is the highest whilst 0000 is the lowest. Small reminder: This is in HEX, so it goes from 0009 to 000A/B/C/D/E/F and then to 0010 same with 0019 to 001A up to 1F and then 0020. Crashball - 0014 Polar Panic - 001C Pogo Painter - 001C Jungle Bash - 0020 Beach Ball - 0018 Tilt Panic - 001C Pogo-A-Gogo - 0020 Space Bash - 0020 Desert Fox - 001B N.Ballism - 0015 (Yeah not even close to max.) Melt Panic - 001C El Pogo Loco - 0020 Snow Bash - 0020 Metal Fox - 001C Dot Dash - 001C (Their speed is crazy but doable to beat at 0020) Sky Balls - 0016 (Slightly harder than N.ballism interestingly.) Manic Panic - 001C Pogo Padlock - 0020 Drain Bash - 001C (At 0020, regular crates do kick worth of damage) Jungle Fox - 0016 Toxic Dash - 001A Ring Ding - 0017 Splash Dash - 001C Dragon Drop - 0020 Mallet Mash - 001E Swamp Fox - 0018 (Be thankful this is only 0018 not 0020. Its impossible otherwise.) Keg Kaboom - 0019 Dante's Dash - 0018 Also, yes their target factor is quite often 02/20 meaning, they will barely attack one another and you have max value to be attacked. Gold pretty much almost never have that. And for some its either 10/10 being equal or 10/20 making it bit more fair than 02/20. If anyone DARES to try out the HIGHEST difficulty possible. @@MSCLeap75 Yeah. Thats what that is. And the other one is for replicating most of platinum relic targetting system. Doesnt entirely work in Pogo levels, as they have sseemingly different targetting system, which boggles me to no end ngl. There is more ways to make it even harder btw, but that would be outside of 0020 difficulty scope and something else artificially added on top. I've used to do these few years back. And heck! For fun, even Co-op where Player 2 is my CPU Ally too at max difficulty. Fun stuff.

@@deoxysandmew2162 I remember as a kid, I tried so hard to figure out how the AI did certain things I couldn't normally do like taunt or push as hard as they do in the polar games. I used to try to mimic their behavior a lot since to my younger mind, they seem to play in a perfect way in order to do some crazy cool stuff like turning in a perfect circle while in place. I used to do the same with the AI on CTR, like how they have a quicker recovery when getting hit. Until I eventually learned that their behaviors are coded differently, which makes me a bit jealous lol.

Well I just got 200% on my playthrough and overall it was fun but frustrating at times. N.Ballism, Splash Dash and Swamp Fox were the 3 worst Platinums for me. If anyone (aka Lewis or any subscriber) wants to do an online 200% co-op run with me on stream just let me know as I would love to do that.

PAL version is even harder than this version. In crate tossing mini games the A.I gets full health from a single wumpa fruit when playing platinum challenge for example!

Unlikely, but in platinum relics and rarely in gold relics, their targetting towards the player is set 02/20. So they barely attack themselves and you're max priority to be attacked.

I'm sure the developers of this game didn't even complete 200% themselves considering there's no reward. The game was coded very lazily considering the many cloned levels, AI buffs and cheap mechanics. Hard difficulty and adventure mode is atrocious while medium/easy difficulty is too easy. The cheat menu in the demo gives you an idea how simple this game is coded. Moreover, having a cheat/debug menu accessible in a demo alone shows the irresponsibility of the developers. This game was a great concept that turned into a dumpster fire.
