Man, the ABS malfunctioning like that puts the driver’s life at great risk. Good thing that nobody got hurt.

Amuse would be not amused by that incident

im amazed how fast that s2000 is. s2000 is one of the hardest car to tune to be really fast. once you dial the tune correctly it can beat so many higher class car.

I had similar brake problem with my Hyundai Ioniq EV 28kWh. Stability control was way too sensitive. The moment one of the wheels stepped on slippery surface under braking or it was over bump, the ESP would relax the braking power of all other three corners and car braking distance would increase unexpectedly by a meter or two at fairly low speeds - very scary. One of the reasons I got rid of the car. Never experienced this in any other car. I'm sure Mr Amuse will find a solution.
Great *~* but I'm still waiting to see GR86 on gunsai!

ABS can be fixed (slightly) if you disconnect a pink wire in the ecu but I heard the abs still isn’t the best after this , common most affordable way is the mk60 abs unit being installed Im gonna disconnect that pink wire on my 370z so it disables the issue of the brakes doing a “ice mode” But by doing so you have to disable code p1805 so the light doesn’t show up But I also seen a lot of people can prevent the abs issue by thresholding the abs and not jabbing it
Times when j's and feed didn't made it into 24 secs memories i was 14 when they were doing this kind of stuff

I have seen this video several times but never the end where the representative from Amuse is able to explain. I appreciate this explanation, I have experienced a similar overly extended ABS function in a Subaru WRX STi, and had many close calls with that car due to something similar. If one wheel loses reference the system seems to default to a much more rudimentary abs procedure which creates a very extended braking distance and prioritizes control over braking distance. It feels as though you are on ice in every direction but the braking direction which is improved but not enough to avoid damage as seen in this video.
