That held together a lot better than I thought it would. I was expecting to see pieces flying off at that speed.

The fact that he's standing in the middle of the runway and trying to land on the same runway tells me this guy crashes every plane he builds.

There's another vid on KZbin with this guy trying to land a warbird. He cleary is in over his head, but - I'm guessing - no one at the field has the balls to level with him.

That bought tears to my eyes, at least the damage was very minimal. Warbirds are certainly extremely tough and excellent flyers also.

He flew it just just fine what happened??? Could this be a balance along with not enough flap use??

Hi Aaron, thank you for visiting the ScaleJetFred channel! The pilot had many nice landings and equally many bad ones. Eventually he gave up! Greetings from Ireland, Fred

It was more the adjustments of the plane. It was the same chap and he did, after some work on the plane,have a successful flight and landing. After that the plane went in to the bin never to be flown again!

Never seen a field where you can stand on the runway to takeoff and land or is it just the way video was shot
@ScaleJetFred7 жыл бұрын
Hi and thank you for watching! We have 4 (x2) runways and depending on wind direction the pilot may have to has to be on a unused (on the day) one to safely take of and land the plane. However, ones a runway has been selected for the day no flying activity is permitted on the other ones. You said it in different words: Safety First!!
@fky10007 жыл бұрын
Hi, i think that rc is over constructed, you may try to make it stronger so i can take more crashes but i think it makes it heavier so its more difficult to land and makes it stall faster!!! Just my opinion!!! Nice video thought.....

Hi Felix T, to day this model has been burned despite having had good flights after the crashing. The builder/Pilot just did not like how this model handled... Thanks for watching, Fred

Why is he landing so far away? Because he standing on the bloody strip if he moved back he wouldn't have caught all the weed, and he could have belly landed on all the soft green good good.

Indeed Glenn! Strengths is weight and weight is compensated by higher speed. This in turn gives problems at landings because of higher speed. The good thing: the plane flew again! - see on my channel: Scale Jet Fred kzbin.info

This guy can't fly very well, I don't care how rich or how old he is it's clear he has low skills , coming in that fast and his split flaps aren't effective maybe they should've been adjusted more down and some elevator mix to compensate, I could see his ailerons where set low to mid rates when he was landing also no mix with the rudder either very little control on the landing and it seemed his awareness of his surroundings weren't very good...
@ScaleJetFred3 жыл бұрын
Hello Rafael! Thank you for the visit to ScaleJetFred and your analytic comment! You be please to know that, having at last after adjustments had a good flight and landing. But the plane was put in storage for ever there after. The pilot continued to develop his skills. Greetings from Ireland, Fred
