A lot of time is sacrificed and money spent, but it does carry great satisfaction in the end, wives are widowers to this great hobby of ours while we are tucked away in some small room shed or garage hours on end . I do not know of any other near realistic sound by a moki engine, love the snap crackle & pop on the slow-motion.

Well done Tony, you just couldn't ask for a softer touch down without any landing gear. I hope that the damage is light. Such a beautiful Corsair. Thanks Fred. AirHammer out!! Mn. USA

@@ScaleJetFred been flying my hobby king gee bee r1 dle 35RA it's such a cream puff yeah right😜 hope to get some videos so I can post. Just built a rudder from the garbage repurposed aileron got about 12 flights on it without a good rudder, planning to fly her with a real rudder. Finally had a friend film my GB R1, its title, you can make fun of me cursing, when the wheel axle breaks Jeff Gee Bee

Belly landings do happen at times. A good trick is to pull the flaps back up almost as you touch down to prevent damage to the flaps . And kill the motor 3 or 4 feet from the deck to possible save the 2 bladed prop. Now if you have 4 blades, your buying a new prop.

For what he was dealing with, definitely the best outcome with Minimal damage.

Great landing 👌. What kit is that or is it scratch built?
@ScaleJetFred3 жыл бұрын
Hi William, thanks for the visit to ScaleJetFred! The Kit was collected in Germany: Built from a kit of Willi Schachermayer in Germany. It seems to be a "One Man Show" 3 Had been collected 10 Years ago, but only this one was ever completed which took a lot of time because It was not a "KIT" but moulded parts of the main body and wings... Greetings from Ireland, Fred

Love the sound! What is the engine configuration?
@ScaleJetFred3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your visit Eamon! The Engine is a MOKI 250, prop 32- 14" I was using since 1998 the first MOKI 200, size 200 ccm in a crop duster Model - Also in a video on ScaleJetFred channel, using the same propeller. Because of lower ref's I prefer its soun because, for this Model, it is very realistic! Both Motors are from Airworld in Germany Greetings from Ireland, Fred

Such a beautiful plane. What scale is it and were the landing gears pneumatic or electric?
@ScaleJetFred3 жыл бұрын
Hi justanotherguy, Thanks for visiting my ScaleJetFred channel! The Corsair is 1/5th size. The gears are pneumatic. Happy New Year and regards, Fred

@@ScaleJetFred Thanks for the reply, do you think that electric would have been better as they are more reliable? Is the plane composite or balsa and plywood? It looks absolutely gorgeous. Great job and thanks for the video.
