From what i see CTR is the most hacked PS1 Crash game in terms of functionality (Widescreen patches, Oxide playable, online mode, no HUD, free cam, ETC.) while the others three only feature level layout mods. I wonder why... Hmmmmm...

CTR is a lot simpler than the other 3 games. CTR doesn't have GOOL scripting, CTR has a linear allocator rather than a paging system, and CTR loads entire levels into RAM, while the other games load levels while you move through them. In addition, I have a lot of free time while stuck inside during the pandemic

There isn't a built-in menu for freecam, it's a standalone mod that you run, that injects into the emulator. If you mean ModMenuV2, that's not in the game either, it's a mod that you install into the ISO

Also, you open the menu by completing Crystal Challenge on N Sanity Beach in Adventure Mode

You can do that with ModMenuV2, or by using the stand-alone "No HUD" mod. There are videos showing both on Mr. Crash's channel. There's also 2P NF Splitscreen, which has "No HUD"

Wait this is coded all in C++ outside the emulator? Wow... That is VERY hacky. I could make a direct MIPS port to run within the game itself (if there's space in memory)

Yes there is enough space in PS1 RAM to do it and we've done it in a future version of this mod.
