The reason why you can get hit by Nitros and survive in the demo and you can't in the final game is that the devs wanted players to be slowed down by nitros in transition areas between levels so the game could load the next area, (e.g. the final cave after the drill in Cavern Catastrophe) but the unfortunate tradeoff was that that means nitros are a 1 hit kill everywhere. Interestingly, they had planned to put in a new crate to rectify this, a crate with a skull icon on it that would kill Crash in 1 hit, however due to time this was entirely cut and they just made Nitros a 1 hit kill everywhere. If I remember correctly, the voice of Cortex in Totum Hokum was one of the lead artists who stepped in until Lex Lang recorded that line... I could be wrong. There is an interview with Keith Webb- the concept artist- who explained this. :)

EnderIsaacCore I heard that the whole "My daught-uhh....neice!" Thing is meant as an inside joke from the developers, because they could not decide whether or not to make Nina Cortex's neice or daughter during development. Or, meant as a joke in regards to how little attention Cortex pays to others but himself. So much so that he forgot if Nina was his neice or daughter.

Well, to start off - aesthetically, it's not very pleasing. It was originally designed to run on computers with low resolutions where it was much more readable than most fonts (and as such could be considered high quality), but in its fully vectorized HD "glory" on modern PCs, it looks pretty bad. Unfortunately, Microsoft included it with the default set of fonts on every Windows operating system since and it's pretty much the first thing people find when looking for something more casual (with the letter "C" being high up and the font sticking out like a sore thumb). So not only is it a pretty mediocre font, it's also completely overused by so many clueless people so that you end up seeing it everywhere.

The E3 demo was included inside a disk that came with a copy of Playstation Magazine back in 2004. I purchased the disc via ebay to record for the Twinsanity project.

JeraCyclo Daniel I'm not sure if the Sonic 06 E3 demo was ever released on a disc or not. I know a demo used to be available for download on Xbox Live, but that was quickly pulled after Sonic 06 launched. I won't be able to help you with finding 06's Demo I'm afraid.

***** yeah thats fine man i actually have the XBL demo but there are way more differences of the E3 version, and sure some from XBL are in E3, but E3 even has unused animations and physics for other characters than just sonic im gonna do some research to see if a disc was released in a magazine or as a disc, because i have seen people saying someone sold the e3 disc to someone a while back so maybe, just maybe... there was more than one disc released but thx again for the info :D
