Brings me back to teenage days walking around alt shops on Queen st downtown Toronto.Ah homesick sometimes.

I know what you mean. Very nostalgic of the Queen Street West music & shop scene. It's was such an amazing feeling & vibe during that era walking around just being in those moments. It's just not the same anymore around those areas. Can only remember & hold on to all those times when hearing these songs again.

@@jetta.silence6356 Don't we know it. I'm 46 & can't even fathom ever forgetting those times. Every feeling, movement & thought was so organic and really meant something on such an indescribable personal level for us back then. Let's continue to remember it all.

Great song - our band is learning it. Such a great time in music history. The sky was the limit and so many bands got their fifteen minutes. Endless optimism, a good enough reason to cover it.

I had this song stuck in my head for 10 years. I could never find this song as much as I searched. Today was the day! my search was "Inside out 90s Canadian". It was the 1st thing that showed up. I was 7 when this song came out

vincent deblois Me too. Absolutely adored Crash Vegas and went to see them play down on Queen St twice. Popped to the bathroom before they went on stage and bumped into Jocelyne Lanois and we had a little chat! Was 19/20 and spent the year in Toronto... what a year it was. Fantastic memories, Red Earth brings it all back.

Fantastic that Warner Music has be posting these videos recently from the Red Earth album. It's my favourite out of the 3 albums that Crash Vegas released, though each album has some "gems". When I'd looked over the past few years, "Smoke' was the only video.

"You say I'm crazy. I've got lots to learn. The world will do fine, without my concern." This was my favorite song, back when I was a teenager, and the world was a very different place. Little did I forsee the ride I was in for...

Loved this song the moment it came out. So much fine Canadian music came out in the late 80s/early 90s promoted by Much Music which was a true gem at the time (is Much Music even around anymore?). Oh…and only a Canadian band can rock a Recorder like that!

From my perspective, this band had everything going for it. A unique and cool sound, two pretty gals in the band and a great, distinctive-sounding lead singer. I gather Greg Keelor helped write some of the songs from this album. And when he and the the lead singer broke up - I guess he stopped collaborating on their material. Was that why they faded? Or problems with the label. No idea. It's kinda sad...but they left some great music behind them.
