Oxidation-reduction reactions are going on around us, and inside us, all the time, and we can make redox reactions in organic chemistry easier to understand by tracking carbon-oxygen bonds. In this episode of Crash Course Organic Chemistry, we’ll focus on alkene redox reactions and revisit our 3-part secret handshake to help us better understand patterns and predict the products of these reactions.

Thank you for sharing this content, I like it .. May I ask? What is the difference between Regioselectivity, Stereoselectivity, Non-Regioselectivity, and Non-Stereoselectivity? Please help me with an answer, thank you ..
@mattkuhn6634
@mattkuhn6634 3 жыл бұрын
Requisite "I am not a chemist" disclaimer, but as I understand it, regioselectivity deals with the reactants (what part of the reactant molecule is involved), whereas stereoselectivity is about the products (what stereoisomers are produced).
