Thanks for the info! I recently purchased this plane for water training @ my pond. The funky front wheel shouldn't get much use :)

BTW I didn't find this video too long like some others said. You covered alot of useful info that I know is going to come in handy when I'm working on mine.

Mate did it at club for me, it's a small hex screw in the nose wheel push rod he adjusted that it was really easy after I put the wheel bach on. The same size and type black screws fasten the rods to the floats.

I was curious as to how that wheel came off. I only plan to fly mine from water and will save an ounce or so of weight. Great job on your videos and keep up the good work..

The way the nose gear spring is wound, the spring will expand when you try to twist the top and bottom parts clockwise and get tighter. If you twist them counter-clockwise, the spring will shrink and get looser which might allow you to reposition the ends or remove them altogether. Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey.. 😎

I thought the same if you go slow you might be able to open it a little..

FMS shipping is a huge rip off. I was ordering a decal sheet. $12.99. Then they wanted almost $20 to ship because it was going in a box so not to damage it. No way I would pay that. So I then added a prop to the order and the shipping dropped down now to $9. Go figure.

Sean, This video is to long for what you showed. Not your best work by far. Idea and problem solving is good just too long. to get to the end point. Out of all the videos I watched that you have made this one is the worst. Being honest and truthful cause I like most of your work.

@@capnhardway Everyone is different, thats what makes this hobby so good. If you create content for You Tube and have been doing it for a few years Then you look at videos different than lets say a normal viewer. So others will always disagree with anything. At least I am not afraid to be honest about my view.
