Its wonderful to see Jupes out and about, However it would be wonderful in the future to see Redruth running with her, I know that will be years away, but i still looking forward to seeing that.

Nice video. In the early 80s, when I was a full time fireman, those Dennis's were new. In Kent our's were all automatic.

have you considered contacting one of the fire stations that it served, and see if the older fire crews or retired crews tell you some of the stories. I'm sure even having the new crews would like to try out jupes, though I'm sure you could haggle to let you drive their truck for comparison purposes.

Next year you should take Jupes to Snetterton for the truck racing and see if you can put her on display?

@thomosevans also specialist sales or auctions. Usually the M.O.D sales have fire engines, old trucks, plant equipment and armoured vehicles for sale.

When do you think that you will be bringing the other fire engine back to it work life because you have own drive it once and then left it to rest in peace and forget it 🎉

I realize that what we see here on the channel is a very carefully-filtered subset of the actual IRL, and that in particular, a lot of the 'production' stuff that goes into crafting that appearance and making the filtration happen, is hidden away -- but I can't help but be a little envious. As much as we all might want to think, "there but for the grace of God" (or whomever) -- the fact is, it's not that simple. There's a lot more to starting a channel like this than simply having a couple of chaps around to hold a camera whilst one rattles gums or wrenches engines. Remember, please, that while self-deprecation keeps one's humility in place, it's really not the best choice for that -- I'm guilty of that myself, as well as overindulging in such remarks, whilst forgetting to lift myself up, later, elsewhere, which is almost even easier to be guilty of. Moments like the one in this video should be cherished, and while I know you say you did -- I hope you took a moment to genuinely be proud of yourself and to recognize just what it took to get here. As much as you present this as, just a simple day's out to get an ice cream, it really is so much more than that. I know I'm proud of you. I wish I could do the same stuff you do -- I can't. Right now I'm having so much trouble just getting doctors to do their jobs that I couldn't stand up long enough to get an ice cream if I was there with you. So, hey, enjoy the show -- but feel good about yourself as well, for being able to share the smile of it with us via LMM. It's quite the accomplishment. Oh, and have a second scoop for me, if you can :3
