Hello. I am planing on going up to Washington For Xmas to see my mom. I was hoping to stop by Crater Lake on December 21st. Did you guys need or use chains? I just planned on staying the night someplace close to the lake and then head to it and then head out towards Washington. But I was wondering if you needed chains to get there from your video I could not tell. Any information would be greatly helpful and thank you so much.

We have a 4WD Yukon, so rarely need chains, but we carry them in the truck in the Winter just in case.
