Thx for all the inspiration here. I tried to go to Crater Lake in aug 2024 after visiting my daughter in Eugene but the big explosion/eruption had just ruined one of the pathways so i missed out cus it was closed, good thing my destination was Mt Shasta CA so i figured i can do it in 2025. Cant wait for my second summer in Oregon this comin yr.

Oh nooo! Hopefully this next year you have some luck, crater lake is such a cool park- even just doing the rim drive around the lake is epic. If you’re in that area you should check out toketee falls too!! Definitely worth the stop!

@@Climbingdude We only had a couple of days so we didn’t get to explore too many hikes, just the cleetwood cove trail. But we’ll definitely be going back! Crater is so cool. Where is that hike at? We’ll have to add it to our list!
