Of course you can. The easiest way would be to attach the crave's Midi out to the Midi in on the Neutron and then make sure both units are set to the same channel. But there are patch bay options that can be used as well.

At last, now I can finally come to terms with the arpeggiator on my Crave. I mean, I got the Crave like weeks ago but was unable to do anything with the arpeggiator and now I can finally get it to work! With such a great tutorial me an all the other numerous owners of the Crave can practice with our own synth! **wannabe sarcasm mode off** Instead of releasing all these teaser videos, concentrate on releasing the freaking synth, goddammit!

A little lcd screen for the tempo would came out handy. 16 steps sequencer is not enough for a synth, 32 is better than 16 but still not enough. PROS: It sounds beautiful. The chasis is pretty and clean. Is semi modular. Almost the perfect budget synth but feels like some basic things are missing. Technically is a standalone but in practice can not be classified as a standalone. Unless you go "solo" with it. Sincerely: Mr. Someone who felt in love with the sound but feels frustrated because it lacks 64 steps.

There’s obviously midi thru. But this is not a sequencer. If you want to sequence other synths, here’s a suggestion from left field, buy a sequencer. Just saying. There’s all those lovely little cv holes up too, could put those to use

It is a obviously semi modular. Semi means, that it already has an internal standard patching. As on the behringer neutron, you really can play hours on it without using any patch cables. In Moot Booxle's videos he uses quite some patch cables on the crave.

You mentioned the arp can be synced by external and then tempo becomes quantized. I cannot get that to work actually. I can only get the sequencer to sync. Is it a missing feature or is it me who is missing something.

Hello, ive running a circuittrack sending clock to a microfreak and to the crave. Everything seems synced fine, but i can't quantize the arpeggiator as is supposed to be, using the twmpo knob... Any clues??

in some sections (0:08-0:19) and (3:33 onwards) it seems the arp is using two notes, up and down.... but I didn't hear that in any of the arp settings (1-8). How are you getting that two note arp?

I guess it's when you actually play an octave on the keyboard AND use 2 octave arp-range. Then the upper C becomes the lower C when the arp switches to the next octave.

Nice tutorial! For some reason, I cannot create an arpeggiator pattern. When I switch the crave on, one led flashes green and one stays red, as soon as I press the arp button one led flashes yellow, then it plays a pattern but I cannot change this pattern. Any ideas of what is happening?

My plan is to get the Odysseyand the BP1200 or SP2400 (whatever y'all are calling it) so my only suggestion is (And I'm by no means a technical guy), is for you guys to PLEASE allow more than a 1-2 bar loop that has to be chained in order to make a song. If at least 4 bars by choice with 16-32 notes could be allowed, I'd pay the extra money.

Can you control the arpeggiator's notes via external keyboard (MIDI or CV)? What's the release date for this? ETA for RD-808? Pro-1? Odyssey? No retailers have these on their websites. Also, I'm hosting another synth meet at my furniture shop in Dallas, TX. Any chance someone from Behringer could bring some new toys to show off? You have to press 2 keys or more. It looks like you can arp with one key if you set a mode.

Open the berihnger synth tool app and put clock source on auto. Depends on your midi connection as well. Little tricky.

BEHRINGER: please help! I've updated my firmware of my Crave to version 1.1.1 and there are a couple of issues that I'm running into with the arpeggiator: 1) Both the 3 octave up and the 3 octave down settings are faulty. (Settings 7 and 8 from this video). They only span 2 octaves. :( 2) When using an external MIDI clock, the tempo/gate length knob does not change the beat division of the arpeggiator - it's stuck in 16th note timing. :( Hopefully this can get passed on to the relevant team! It'd be great to have these features of the Crave working as advertised! :)

I've read a lot of people are having issues after updates. I've had mine for 3 weeks and I can't get it to update at all using Synthtool. I just get 'Cloud under maintenance'. I did see a file with the update but have no idea how to use it.
