Gawd…farming is so active…and all those big toys. Love the music…beach boys and the combine harvester are perfect together. I m just a Glasgow (west end) townie but there’s something incredibly exciting bout an active C. H doing it’s thing

Garlic buckets don't work that well be better using Spot on. I do them beginning of June and beginning of August so lasts the whole summer.

That is a proper baler. For hay. For silage, a proper baler has the wrapper on it too.

Use spoton for the flies and the garlic buckets as a back up, not all cattle especially calves will take to the buckets

@crawfordsfarm here in Idaho USA my grandparents own a cattle ranch and each year they grow their own grain and hay for the cattle. I haven’t heard of silage before what is it and how is it different from alfalfa hay(the kind they grow)?
@thepeoplespal511 ай бұрын
It is where the grass is only wilted a bit, then ensiled in plastic to remove/stop the oxygen spoiling the grass, then it ferments. The calories in silage is much higher than that and cattle seen to thrive on it. They say that pit silage is better, but farmers don't need to employ as many contractors and invest so heavily with bale silage.

Why not have conveyers to the the other sheds? It would save you time shifting the dry grain.

You should add less short songs and more sound effects to the drone/ mini time lapses.
