I've only ever seen a handful of tires that are marked at all-- Canyon Trails obviously, and then tires like Rovers and Lampreys have AB markings, but I think only one other tire has Traxxs-like markings and I honestly can't remember what it was. A Jetko? Gmade? It exists. I'm 88% sure of it.

I am literally about to do this in a few days. My daughter (21) and I are building her first crawler...well other than the 1/24's I have bought her over the years. We were going through pictures of what patina she might like and when she saw that guy with the black / neon colors truck shell....she said "Ooooohhhh." So now we're doing that. LOL.

Just starting her with a 10.3 builder kit since they were on sale over Labor Day and I had $90 rewards from A-main Hobbies. I'm treating the 10.3 as the gateway into crawling. Start with a 10.3 and improve from there. LOL. And I think for Christmas, if she likes crawling with us, I'll get her a Phoenix or VRD Carbon. I have two Carbon's and love them. I don't have a Phoenix though.

I would go with a matte gold instead of a full shinny gold. I also, think it would look better 2 tone like maybe gold with a black hood or roof? You could also use the molded fender line that runs the length of the cab and paint below that one color and the rest a different color. 🤓 P.S..... that suspension is lookin a little suss.... we need to get some straps on there asap!

Titanium will throw bright white sparks, even if lightly hit with a right angle scotch bright sander

What about this: Two tone style paint job like from 1989. Buuuuuut...the middle stripe is black with gold speck sorta close to the style on the chassis. Then the upper and lower color is a dark-ish tone blue. Like the blue color of the two lids on the super glue bottles right in front of Roosevelt.....well more like to the left of him. The darker blue lids. It would not be simple...but it would stand out.
