I felt the same thing when the Colonel managed to remain motionless at WOT for a solid 5 seconds. I was so lukewarm on the Komp Rock Beasts that I started to wonder if I had gotten knock-offs. But this set of Alien came directly from PitBull, so they gotta be the real deal. I ordered another set of hairbuns to try, but they're 10 days out at least.

So odd that the Rock Beast still haven't found a home and are unable to find grip. I've always had great luck with my Rock Beast on the slick mossy covered rocks here in Ohio. Hopefully you find a use for them.

We need shocks that are basically like miniature mountain bike rear shocks with minimal adjustable rebound& compression. The crow must’ve been eying the truck.

I just learned Amazon now has lcg transmissions for $30-ish. Seems like that may be up your alley.

I've been impressed with the 10.3 Bronco I got for Christmas. It is heavy (8.16 lb currently), but as with all my builds, it's going more crawler than trail. That was not my intention, but it always happens. One of these days I'll keep one a Trail rig...maybe. Also, email sent regarding potential parts reload.

I do like the AR45 straights more than the portals.

@@CrawlerCanyon I was amazed by what just removing the springs and going to a full droop setup from stock did for that Bronco. That makes it much less suited to running trails now though.
Very nice video. What do you think over fimoda rc?

The "MEUS" chassis set I got off of Amazon appears to be in every way identical to the Fimonda skid-forward setup on AliExpress. I'm not sure any of these "brands" actually make anything, and are rather just points of distribution. I've bought absolutely identical 1.9 beadlocks from at least 5 different "makers." Injora offers the exact same chassis as Fimonda and MEUS as well.

I'm bummed the rock beast aren't preforming. You have any other tires you'd like to try out?

I've been waiting for the G-Made 1904s to come back in stock for what feels like ever-- they've been recommended to me on more than one occasion. And honestly, I am genuinely intrigued by some of the new ProLine offerings with their "memory foam inserts" like the MT Baja Pro X. I mean, that tire is pretty much ProLine's Tusk (or more accurately, the Tusk is a non-licensed Baja Pro X) , so I'd like to see which is better. But you know... me and ProLine.

@@CrawlerCanyon I have a set of 1904's as well as a gmade buffalo gs02f. I have a set of rc4wd baja pro's as well.

10.3 is so bad, how's 10.2? looking at a 10.2 V2 kit for a project of mine
@CrawlerCanyon Жыл бұрын
The 10.2 and 10.3 share nothing in common beyond both being crawlers made by Axial. The 10.2 is the basic framework that's been, umm... "adopted" by most everyone else. An Element Enduro has more in common with a 10.2 than a 10.3 does.

I really hope peeps in my local groups don't see this as i've seen a LOT of Rock Beasts out there and I've never been impressed. The Little Tire That Couldn't.."I cannot, I cannot, I cannot".
