I run these on a HIGHLY modified trx4 and I love them. They are cheating. I don't care. They make me big happy and will just about crawl across the ceiling.

Wow wow, what kind of trx4? A sport? I’d love to hear about your build. Fitting those on a non high trail seems crazy! And I want it!

I ran them on a 14" wheel base ar60 swapped TRX4 with 120mm shocks and 4270 outrunner on 6s. It was the trx5.

@@V8chump they are on a high trail but it's only the axles, shocks, and gearbox at this point. It's a really capable rig and a lot of its success is because of these tires. They are absolutely preposterous in their ability to just find traction and pull.

Would we expect anything less from the mighty Ruptures?
@rcarty419Ай бұрын
You’re right about the pattern. Have the 1.9 rovers fro minis and they are great. The jconcepts for me are stickier and better or maybe it’s a vehicle to tire weight ratio thjng. But my 1.9s are Awsome the 5.25s I love Today took out my bully2 with the 1.9 ruptures. Have only had the bully pins o not and wow so much better it also made it insanely low and stable. May have to try these someday too!

We have a zero G style hose (ours I’m pretty sure it’s a knockoff) it’s nice because it’s light. We have a few big 100ft garden hoses hooked to our water blaster and it probably weighs 70lb,and we have to carry it a long ways when we use it for fencing

Mr.Canyon, have you ever seen boomracing weighted beadlock rings? You can add lead weights inside the rim for over an extra pound of weight to your wheels… assuming you have brushless power that would be a huge deal. Further out and lower down than almost any other possible modifications
@CrawlerCanyonАй бұрын
There is an absolute limit to the amount of rotating mass you can add before it turns against you- there is definitely too much of a good thing. For a tenth scale, anything above say 300g per combo (wheel, tire, and insert) can start to hamper performance. Exceptions are giant rigs, like crawler Ryfts, where the WB is so long and the track so wide that the rotating weight doesn’t overwhelm the geometry.

Could you stretch these 2.2 ruptures on a 2.9 in rim of a scx6?
@CrawlerCanyonАй бұрын
Probably. The big Rupture is the same size as a lot of SCX-6 tires. But... the stretch from a 2.2 with a 1.9 tire is only a few millimeters per side. 2.9 with a 2.2 is pretty stretchy. That first mounting would not be fun.

I have 2.2’s on a Capra 4wheel steer with extended wheel base & I put 2.2 Ruptures on my TRX4 High Trail Chevy & they are huge I’ll probably take them off because they do rub but just makes it look way bigger & I’m using a upgraded servo but it’s still not happy if you get bound up.

@chriscord6524Ай бұрын
Solder whatever connector the servo needs to the exact spot that you are plug the battery into the esc. Just red to red black to black. That way the esc and servo have their own path from source =battery

There might be some still squirreled away somewhere, but I wouldn't explicitly recommend one. It's an Integy cage for Axial AX10, and in the amount of time Wolverine has been on the job, that thing has bent all to hell. I've been straightening it with pliers.

Weeeeee, big fat Rupture Redux! Tell me Wolverine doesnt look brutal on those tires The get 4th place, tied with LP Tusks, beating S5 pins and class 1 Megs and Tusks by 0.5 points or less This only makes me want even more the real Ruptures, fakes arent as good. Im going to make custom dual stage inserts for the fakes, hopefully they will be good enough to make me forget for a while about getting the real deal, as I CANT get them for less than 90 bucks. I tried EVERY option to get them... 50kg SOA in 3s isnt enough to move 2.2 Ruptures? I run 11kg SOA on nihm batteries 🤣🤣🤣

Where are you living that you have to dish out 90 bucks for a set of OGs? I agree they are a cheat code and I love them but do the originals really are that much superior than copies? I rather doubt that.
@HVT03Ай бұрын
@@themountain59 I live in Spain, every nice part is expensive (Jconcepts and Proline tires, Desert Lizard shocks, etc) Just by looking at Mr. C's reviews, with stock foams the fakes are not good enough to make you not want the genuine ones. Mr. C has a video about the real vs fake Ruptures. In my experience, the fakes with stock foams are "decent", they are not Hustler bad, but they make you want to try to make them better
