Looks like a great start. I've got a crawler hauler as well. Owned it for the last 6 years or so. My limiting factor was the small 8 gallon black tank. I bought a 16 gallon black tank and am going to mount it under the deck of the trailer and plumb it from the camper. Same with fresh water. I'm going to add a fresh tank under the deck and use a 12v pump to move the water into the main tank in the camper. My furnace doesn't work very well so I upgraded to a diesel heater. Super cheap and easy way to get some heat in the camper.

I'm so far behind on all of the accessories. Right now I'm only using the fridge, stove burners and lights inside. Gotta figure out how to do the rest

I'm putting my camper plug in the trailer and running new wires to it,from the trailer cord and it's always plugged in and can't fall out. Turning sharp turns its way better, easy plug n go with 1 plug in to the truck super easy clean look

I would extend the wires all the way to the front of the trailer hitch then have them go back to the plug on the rear of the truck, that way no matter how tight you turn the wires don't get any tighter or looser, you could always put some pipe insulation or pool noodle around the wires where they drape over the tailgate so they're not rubbing your truck's paint.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Maybe run a splitter of the bed 7 pin and have both plug in there

For the camper plug, I would put a socket on the trailer. That way you only have to plug in one cord and then the camper is powered up when the trailer is plugged in.

That's the plan I came up with too! 🤘🏻

With this rig you’re dangerously close to not having an excuse for driving to Alaska 🤓🤩🤣

That would be an adventure!

As for the camper power, you could just run an anderson connector with heavier gauge to the bed to charge house batteries faster. (assuming thats what you meant) I like to buy 20 ft jumper cables its cheap way to get heavier gauge wire. Run one from truck battery to bed and have a connector there. Plus you can run a trailer or rear bumper winch off it too if ever needed. Then if you want the chicken lights lit on the camper just tap the brown wire into the gooseneck power distribution strip. I wouldnt think you would want any Stop/turn lights on the camper right? Shouldn't need the left, right, reverse or brake wire on it just power ground and tail.

All good ideas! I might just tap into the box like you said, I just don't want to get rid of the camper 7 pin

If that were mine, I’d make boxes for the wheel well pockets. More storage and a cleaner look.

I like it! I'm planning on getting some used truck boxes eventually 🤘🏻
