Vintage Caterpillar, International, Track Marshall, Assorted Vintage Tractors, Crawlers of all sorts on show and working the land at Commons Farm, Braybrooke, Market Harborough on 15th & 16th August 2009
These were actual working machines Ploughing the fields and demonstrating their Pulling Power.

Thanks for the tip Wayne, You get some great machinery at some of these steam shows, excellent video opportunities. Just film anything and everything, you can always chop it out at the editing stage. Most of what you see filmed here was done freehand, I just brace myself as best I can and film away...

Thanks Mike, Yes the two tractors together are supposed to be that way, it's called a Doe and looks quite a work of art close up, double the power I suppose. I can definitely recommend going to this next year, it's well worth being up close and personal with all the big machinery... ha ha. Thanks for watching and rating.

Im an engineering minded kind of person, and I have a liking for mechanical objects, large machinery and such things. Old or new, makes no difference to me, but I do like to see large machinery in action. Yes Im sure we have similar interests. Thanks for watching.

@localcrew Wow, small world indeed, yes Harrogate is up north from where I live in the Midlands, a beautiful place in Yorkshire, been there several times during the course of my work. And heres you in Kansas..!! I dont own a CAT, sure wished I did, but I like all things old and mechanical, and Im glad to hear you too keep these old girls running in Kansas, its one of those things in life that just has to be done, Good on you. Great video, I love to see these old tractors working. I have been lucky enough to do a bit of ploughing with a Track Marshall 136 and 5 furrow Dowdeswell reversible. A bit strange not having a steering wheel, just a small joystick

Cheers Bob, but I could have done better I know. at times it was all happening around me at once and I didn't know where to point the camera next, was frightened of missing some action, and I never seemed to be exactly where I needed to be to get the best shots... I remember watching tractors pulling trailers that would dig up dirt and a pusher helping them in 1953, in Thornton colorado..they had all kinds of them in front of my house digging the grounds for the new school, there are yellow rubber tired ones and caterpillar types also..plus a cleveland bucket trencher. There was also a small red and gray loader that i thought was a ford but can't find any thing on that..

I'm over across the pond here in America and we do the same thing every year in Kansas. It's where all the wheat gets grown. Lots of cattle too. Look for kansascat123 and you'll find some videos of our "Spring Fling" where we dig a pond or something with old Cats. I have a couple of old (1960) D7s that I need to get back together. One of these days... BTW, my mom hailed from Harrogate, Yorkshire. That's up north, isn't it? Great vids!

Look at 'Miastrada Dragon' to see a very different kind of tractor, though it uses a wheel that acts much like a track.
