I had the wonderful opportunity of having a drum lesson with Matt Greiner! It was awesome, and he taught us many exercises. I've got a lot to practice! I wanted to share it for all of my drummer friends, and I hope you can learn from it.
Here are the exercises:
Doubles R Accent - goo.gl/3ObMGz
Doubles L Accent - goo.gl/UYW1f6
Doubles R Inverted - goo.gl/a37K7h
Doubles L Inverted - goo.gl/VyThhw
Alternate Blast - goo.gl/hAHwzv
Death Metal Blast - goo.gl/eXttTI
Alternate Blast with Double Bass - goo.gl/at8Dhk
Death Metal Blast with Double bass - goo.gl/amNe0M
If you are a subscriber for my tech videos, just ignore this! I'll be back with my regular tech videos NEXT Tuesday. I've had a busy week, and I don't have time to film one for this Tuesday. Thanks for understanding, and I hope you can enjoy some stuff from a cool week I've had!

Matt greiner is seriously such an incredible drummer... I’ve been drumming for 15 years, and I feel like after all these years, I’m nowhere even close. He’s probably my most influential drummer, aside from portnoy, and barker. God bless you Greiner

Really has a gift for motivating through teaching. A lot of drummers, particularly in metal, are awful at articulating most of what they write, let alone being able to communicate a wide array of lessons. Amazing drummer and teacher.

Matt is my idol. He is such a stand up guy!! I saw ABR on tour at Starland last year and he walked up to the crowd after the show and handed me a stick!! Out of all the people he could have picked he chose me because I was playing air drums with my hands LOL

Awesome instructional! Wish I were in a class with Matt not only cause he's the drummer from one of my favorite bands but mainly because he's so down to earth, a genius, amazing at explaining everything and making the students feel motivated and confident that they can learn, play and are capable of pretty much everything. I never really realized how great a teacher he is. Definitely taking notes and applying them. Thanks dude for posting the video and thanks Matt for being cool as sh*t! \m/

I gained a bad habit of leading sometimes with my right foot and sometimes with my left foot. For constant strokes i lead with my left, rolls or singles I lead with my right (triplets as well). It was a bad habit I learned from being self taught but I started practicing to strengthen both and now I play with both feet leading. Gaining bad habits (especially for self-taught players like myself) can turn into something good and versatile. Just have to put in the work and practice.

TheRandomSpectator I have manual audio controls on my camera, but since it's a t5i, I just have a "clipping" light on my mic to go off of while recording, and that's it. I was trying to compensate at the time and adjust the volume so it wouldn't be clipping. I wish my camera had a more detailed audio meter to look at while recording.
