Late transition type on the right side. Iffy from the left. Lil' spooky. A "Get what ya pay for." Nice review

Not necessarily a get what you pay for thing, just for lefties that are always bowling on the fresh, makes ball selection a little more specific.

How does this feel compared to a outcry or uproar because the numbers are similar
@LukeRosdahl6 күн бұрын
Eh, the RG on the Outcry and Uproar is still 2.55, and believe it or not that's fairly significant. This one definitely rolls earlier and I don't think it's as sharp as either of those because I remember them both being fairly angular. Probably about the same strength. Would be more similar to the Uproar than the Outcry. The Fusion is really what reminds me of the Outcry, although it's earlier and smoother.

Still poured at same plant the Original Swag balls were, Korea, and some of the new stuff reuses the old cores, just different colors and new logos, so IDK if they are different, just a new outlet and distribution that it was. Good luck with it. The New Dragon and Judge look interesting with "New" cores.

Never said the cores were new, what they did was take vintage cores and adjust them a little to kind of pay tribute to the older stuff but update them at the same time, and while they are still poured in the same place, the covers ARE new, not uncommon for companies to come out with new covers, so it's not just new colors and logos on regular old stuff. This is just a relaunch run too so I'm sure straight up new stuff is also coming.

Except it's not Korea designing these coverstocks which is now being done stateside for American patterns and oils vs where the old were all made for Korean oil volumes and patterns and style bowlers

I had pinpointed the fusion more in the shock zone. Is the fusion that much stronger?
@LukeRosdahl13 күн бұрын
The cover on the Fusion is stronger, but the core is quite a bit higher RG. The core in this ball is much closer to Shock territory, though this cover is a little weaker I think, even if they were to be put at the same surfaces.

@LukeRosdahl I get what you're putting down. I think I meant in terms of use case. Fusion seems like a weird cross up to me. Strong cover weak core. Feel like there have been a few hyroads that tried this to mixed success in the market.

True, this one feels the most like a Hyroad Nano to me and I think that one was the most successful, but still it's in more manageable territory. Hyroad RG is still a few points higher with a lot higher diff, so even more length, even more response and that can make ball reaction wonky. The Fusion core is much closer to the Hyped core, so it's really much closer to being a stronger Hyped Solid rather than a Hyroad kind of ball.
