Oh yea owning a bus is no joke. When you first buy the bus is the most difficult part. Once it finishes growing getting it out of the ground like this is almost impossible. The wheels grow into the ground and everything. I must say it’s difficult but worth it to be able to say I own a bus.
@matt37902 жыл бұрын
It's only stressful if you have no clue what you're doing. I've watched a couple episodes and all I see is mistake after mistake. A little Common Sense goes a long way and can save you a lot of money videos are a good what not to do. For example a small piece of plywood under each Tire to distribute the weight would prevent it from sinking. I can also assure you that that bus will never be the same again by the way they were pulling it. Because buses are so long the frames Bend easy.

I had the same thing happen with my bus in the Florida sand of my backyard. Towing companies wouldn’t touch it so we ended up having to use a harbor freight bottle jack and loads of wood to slowly lift the back wheels up to fairly level with the ground. 1 week later it was finally out and no longer leaves the concrete pad. Congrats on getting it out !!

To everyone curious about the cost of the tow or making comments about the cost of the tow, it was free! (They mentioned that in replies to their comments.) They have roadside assistance. This is the exact reason you always want to have roadside assistance if you own an RV or Skoolie. It is a LIFESAVER in times like these and 1000% worth the subscription cost. Also, to those wondering how it got there, they simply parked it in their backyard so they could work on it, but it ended up sinking into the sand because of its weight.

know what's easier? buying a running a driving RV. you also don't need a CDL to drive a RV, you do for a bus though before it's converted, if your state even allows the conversion. in a lot of cases you can buy a running driving home on wheels ready to roll for less than $10k.
