Fun fact! When skating in competition, having an article of clothing land on the ice is a deduction, meaning skaters have to get pretty creative if they want to include a costume change. In show skating, there are no rules so that's why they just throw their clothes everywhere hahaha

What makes a costume change crazy or cool is when it's done in a quick and subtle way. There's nothing crazy about a costume change that required actually removing a coat or a robe or a jacket to reveal the "other" costume.

Yes. Every (originally) magic trick must be tried very well before it is shown to the public. Throwing clothes on the ground (ice) belongs to nightclubs.

Thats what I was thinking. If you have to actually take something off its not really that cool. The first one is what I expected. The third was cool with the wig but the idea of having to toss it just ruins the illusion of a quick change. The dress part going from tux to golden dress was great.

@@anti-ethniccleansing465 I wouldn't really call it a costume change. But she just rubs the sequins on her dress basically. After the stsq, pay attention to the sequins on her arms. She'll run her hands down both arms, flipping the sequins from white to black. And at the end of her program, she runs her hands down her torso, flipping the sequins from white to black.Very subtle and hard to catch since the sequins kinda flicker between white and black when shes skating, but if you pay attention on those two moments, those were supposed to be a costume change. Again not really a costume change, but thats what Daniil advertised when they debuted the program.

it's not even allowed. there's a reduction. even if it falls unintentionally, so that's the dangerous thing about changing outfits. it could be really dangerous if any person trip with it.

The only ones that were actually costumes change were the ones the first three red in start, second one, black suit to gold, another that changed to one blue mid performance and maybe one or two more with actual change of full costume - in one go within transition in choreography. Removing jackets is not costume change especially not when you have to break ur choreography for it.
