IDK, I play in TX, and I have found that here, at least, it is almost impossible to push anyone off of a draw before the turn. I would think that tournament players already in the money play similarly. Overbet the turn in TX and you will see some folds, but they aren't going anywhere if they have an open ender or 4 to a flush on the flop.

@wristwatch-trader72374 ай бұрын
Well, the good news is we learn from your good hands and we learn even MORE from your bad hands. The JJ was bad, and not because he rolled over AA. The worst hand you're ever going to see there is AK. Like 5% of the time he's going to roll over TT and you'll feel like a genius. The AQ was played like I play hands sometimes, so I know how bad it is. Let them get there, and not only do you lose the existing pot but you pay off the river bet. Trust me, I'm trying to avoid that too, not always successfully...

Rampage was favored pre-flop in about four or five of those hands at the end, but he probably should have adjusted his strategy at the final table. I know he likes to play a lot of hands, and sometimes that leads to his amassing a lot of chips, but he didn't have to play KQ off and AJ off every time he was dealt them. It's as if he predetermined that he was getting all his chips in with those types of hole cards. It's fine to nit up, be protective of your chips, and let the short stacks battle each other.
