My Poker Brother Nathan, 97 in the minute 8:00, the example with floating Aggressive players, 97 makes a straight in there, therefore you should either take it out or consider it NOT a Bluff :D Small mistake that I wanted to show you that it slipped somehow :D

For beginners looking to improve quickly, focus on mastering position, hand selection, and understanding player tendencies. Stay disciplined with your bankroll, avoid bluffing too much, and learn to read the board for potential hands. As you advance, incorporate concepts like pot odds, bet sizing, and bluff timing, but remember that patience and practice are key to long-term success in poker.

I have rules. Hold Em Rule #3, Only bluff heads up hands. (with very rare exceptions....very very rare) I love the reference to long term poker, 99% of freebie online players have no idea what that is. Chris Ferguson's 10k Challenge was a brilliant display of long term poker and I encourage ALL players new or old to watch it. PS - I still get a kick out of watching the hand he didn't realise action was on him and I watch it semi regularly. hahahahaa

This guy is truly a gem when it comes to teaching some extremely solid poker theory. I have literally, and I mean literally, gone from a fish sucking dirt out of water to a very confident winning player. And as much as it hurts me sometimes to eat other fish alive, understanding the feeling of walking away from the table with zilch again, I can only say thank god, the universe, my mother, whoever for having found this guy as a teacher. Thank you. Seriously. Thank you.

I just recently started winning. It took me 2 years to understand how agressive I should be. I thought I was doing everything right, i did everything you said, but I kept loosing. It took me 2 years to understand I was wayyyy too passive. I am so aggressive now, sometimes I have to correct myself and say: take it easy man. Thanks man! Last month 500 euros profit, its just a hobby for me, so thats ok for me

There are more than one type of limpers. The limp-raiser for example. He limps, you raise he re-raises. Then there is the limp-caller. They lim you raise they call. I have seen them doing it with pocket aces, pocket kings etc etc. Especially in 1-2 euro cash games
@BlackRain79Poker8 күн бұрын
Yes, you are right. Limp RR is almost always the nuts. Will probably make a video on this.

Not always, maybe in the long run! But against amateurs, 90% true!. Seen Pros lost when they are on a down swing! I only play premiums on early position and widen my range when having luck! I become aggressive when im in late position with strong hands and play more hands specially suited Aces. I become a nit player when not hitting the flop or having bad beats or quit early! Been playing for ten years. At the end of every year my bank roll always have increase at least 20%. I was a math teacher and regularly play chess!

Just wanted to share I’ve been trying to mimic your style as much as I can. Posted my second straight win after following a few of your tips trying to play TAG poker. Obviously a couple people folded to me to easily. I also would’ve cashed for a lot more if a couple stupid bomb pots and loosing with a king high flush to and ace high flush. I just didn’t believe he had it. But Tag poker is helping out.

@ I took a bad turn. I was up $1548 in 30 days. Next 30 days I’ve only sit down 3 times and I have lost $1030 I’m only 2 weeks into the month and can’t find a win. I’m going to keep studying! Hopefully everything turns around for me. I do take my poker seriously but, find myself getting lazy from time to time if I’m not winning pots. I always try to force the issue. Back to the drawing board. Thanks for the response.

Nathan i agree with your hand selection and opening ranges and thats just that. Bluffing isnt very profitable. Unless you got the odds.
@Gustavo20780Ай бұрын
I think that for the very micro stakes, your redline should go down all the way. Its Just not worth it to fight the whales on those limits And even the weak regs will call too much

They don’t always win haha. Play 200nl stream online 10 to 1 u can’t beat the games after 500k hands

First off, I love your content, and it is improving my game. I also appreciate that you have a degree and can string a proper sentence together! :) I wonder if poker would still support you if you dropped your books, your course, your affiliate links and coaching, i.e. poker alone. I only ask because I cannot believe the game is no more challenging today than it was when you started in 2004. Thanks for your videos and books.
@BlackRain79Poker19 күн бұрын
Thank you Liam! Although not everybody in these comments agrees that I am smart or can string a sentence together lol :( I would like to hope I could make it without the additional revenue streams but there is no question poker is a lot harder these days than when I began in 2004.

A5 suited is NEVER a 4bet but it’s always a 5 bet jam. In theory that is. All other tips are on point but you should absolutely not be 4betting weak suited aces. You should be 4 bet bluffing but it’s not with those hands. Hands like KQ off play much better as a 4 bet bluff.

Pros don’t always win - but they play within their bankroll, so they never have to quit. So they win eventually. All the pros that went bankrupt? Quit playing within their bankroll.
