for the baseball ones where the umpire tells the runner to come home, its because of what's called a "balk". if the pitcher is on the mound and is ready to pitch, and he does something that mimics his normal pitch but then stops, that's called a balk. if the pitcher balks, all runners on base can move up one base. this rule is to keep pitchers from faking pitches or throws to basses.

Same here. Stoke will forever be a legend, and I got nothing but love for Tebow. I think we did DT dirty, but it is what is. Another great one was the Simmons PAT block-Parks runback against the Saints. Pretty sure Parks stepped out but he was wearing those white shoes, it was impossible to definitively reverse it.

Life crushing... my brothers and friends would meet Sunday afternoon on the gridiron/ I found out quick-there is no coming back from this injury. That was back in the 80s; just now able to even watch,,,, thanks again 🙏. Our teammates were invited to meet GOLDBERG and Tony Cassillas from the Oklahoma Outlaws. Thankyou for your comment. Now I know I don't need to watch the whole video. What about Aussie Rules, Cricket, Soccer, Hockey both field and ice, rugby, etc?
@Joshua-ev9uw3 жыл бұрын
That's because we play exciting sports. Our sports aren't people running around kicking a ball for 90 minutes and ending in a 0-0 tie. Rugby is kinda exciting but the hits aren't nearly as impressive as the NFL and I know it's because they aren't wearing pads but if you think an NFL player wouldn't dominate in rugby after learning the game, you're just kidding yourself. Idk what to say about cricket because I don't get that at all, BUT it's definitely more exciting than baseball which is incredibly boring. Field hockey is boring, but ice hockey is interesting. Lacrosse is decent. Boxing is good. MMA is good. American sports are just better. Well at least football and basketball. I know there's overseas basketball, but if they're worth a crap they come to the states. (I live in Budapest just for your information)

what’s a balk?
@jasont.dingess49852 жыл бұрын
@@freelanceryuu I just looked it up, apparently a balk happens when a pitcher makes too many illegal motions. And why they scored is because only the base runners are allowed to advance a base but the batter remains with their ball stirke count the same, so with a runner on 2nd and 3rd the balk forced of course 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to home thus giving Chicago their game winning point. If it wasn’t a tie game in the 9th then it would be one point for Chicago with a man on third and the batter would resume with the I believe 1 and 0 count with 2 outs. Anyone who knows for sure and reads this check my facts but I believe that’s right I found my resources on Wikipedia. And now we both learned something new today unless you looked it up before I did. I'm still salty about superbowl 49, we should have run the F@#$%^& ball and win the game, I blame everyone from wilson to ricardo lockette to the offensive coordinator for that play, the seattle seahawks could have been a back to back championship team, but no we had to blow it all off on that last play. Ever since superbowl 49 the seahawks have not been the same for me, the offensive linemen is terrible, legion of boom is gone (except for Bobby Wagner), and I will not be salty unless we get that superbowl win back.
