In Massachusetts where I’m from there was this radio station called WAAF and back in 2003 they were in the studio and they did this song for the time on spot unrehearsed and completely nailed it and when they saw that they could do this song they song really good they recorded the version you hear now down in Florida

Once back in like 2010 and once last year at an acoustic show, where Brent couldn't finish the song cause he started crying at the last chorus. Barry then explained that it's a very emotional song written about a very dark time in Brent's life, and that's why they don't play it.

So cool you stopped and did this video with your mom, my mom's favorite band was Shinedown and this was her favorite version of the song. This was her song to me it always made he tear up, every time I hear it I think of her and now that she has passed away I tear up every time, cancer took her at age 58 a year ago. I can’t say this enough- I love you and your mom!
