Nick Harbor is bananas. For him to really beast out on track he'd slim down to more of a track body, closer to Usain Bolt. So on him even some muscle would decrease in size. He's a good size for his football position.
@Normandy194411 ай бұрын
But he's now a standard fish in a big pond and his football stats were not all that impressive. He can make just as much in track, because he's not all that in football, so hopefully he's weighing his options for the better. He's got a free ride, so he'll push the football, I'm sure. In track you don't have to worry about someone taking your knees out (and career).

What about Wilt Chamberlain: " Chamberlain displayed his diverse athletic talent at KU. He ran the 100-yard dash in 10.9 seconds, shot-putted fifty-six feet (17 m), triple jumped more than fifty feet (15 m), and won the high jump in the Big Eight Conference track-and-field championships in three consecutive years."
@CYMotorsport11 ай бұрын
Most of this has been fully debunked. Though you’re not wrong to mention it - it was the writer at the time who reported it without spot checking but ppl only quote the source material through the years. Thats on the writer from that article. It’s been confirmed he won 2 titles in high jump. But it wasn’t the big east.. it was big seven. He tied the other year. But given the flop hadn’t been developed yet, this is still a crazy good jump. Don’t get me wrong. His best confirmed triple is 45’9 in his prime jumping years. Not 15m. For perspective, DK jumped longer at the 5a state meet… as a highschooler with official measurements (46’5). He also never shot put anything confirmed over 48. His college records show his best result was P3 in big seven all freshman meet at 47’5. Couldn’t confirm his 100 yard time but we’re comparing DK’s 10.3 electric time with even a conservative conversion of 100 yards into a 100m time of over 11 seconds . Wilt is the most gifted 7 footer no doubt about it. And you could make a pound for pound argument, but DK on a net level has vastly better results.And it’s not like DK is the size of Ashton Eaton. He’s Usain Bolt’s height and nearly the size frame wise as Travis Kelce. If Harbor keeps growing, he’s going to be SCARY. I just hope he doesn’t burn out. If DK is a comp and remains committed to track, he’ll be unbeatable

Metcalf, Alvis Whitted, Deon Sanders, and sean taylor were obscure freaks. Track guys are fast, but to do it in a league and be respected by fellow track guys is impressive. Football muscle is made for impact and static support. That track muscle is a different twitch and it is much more difficult to get. Those track guys have to run alot or have the mental ability to change your techniques for the different sports. Its going to be difficult to replace football muscle (unless he likes running like crazy and eating that diet those guys do). Swapping back and forth between track and football is a mad and crazy athletic ability at the collegiate level.
