Malicious deathbringer only procs once on the ult, on the first hit, so it seems that it also has the "once per ability" rule that most items of this type have. That's also the way that sekmet's scepter works with ne zha ult.

the best ne zha build is bumbas hammer then hydras lament first item...malicious deathbringer next, then failnot as ur 4th item. last 2 items u can go basically anything but the first 4 are really vital and u sit with over 2.17 atckk speed, 85% crit, 40% cdr, 40% pen etc ur maxed or basically maxed everything because ne zha gets 7 stats built into her kit. also i think vibrant shard is best because that +hydra+crit+bumbas all stacking makes first hit pop them...edit: omg i commented this before seeing the vid and you jst said at 7:30 youd go hydras first with malicious deathbringer 2nd so nice sounds like you already realized this.

Failnot is good for after the ult, usually if nezha takes you up the rest of the team collapses when you come down. So it's just a pen item at that point

Weak3n, or anyone else that might know, correct me if I'm wrong here, but if Achilles is flipping his blue buff to the green totem he's gaining a little over 1k hp. Granted if he's late you can't really start the fight and have to let the fight come to you with your support, but outside of that xing that seems like it would be fine.

Seems it only subtracts 1 second from the ult cooldown, regardless of if you hit all 3 crits in the air

29:45 serq eating the ult, im a ne zha main and have NEVER had that happen that is awful. Also personally I like going bumbas spear, jotunns, runeforge, deathbringer, brawlers, heart seeker. maxed flat pen and your ult combo 1 taps squishies from like 20 minutes onward, your build had alot of percent pen but not alot of flat pen im kinda questioning that.
