First: it was written for the general audience instead of to the individual followers of the scene. 2nd, the wonderful VO artist apologized earlier in the comments for his mispronunciations as the creators were pushed hard via time limits to get this video out in one day after spending a ridiculous amount of time watching the entirety of the top 8 for every single game, with some being up more than 24 hours straight.

I was nsanely hyped for Evo and watched Super Smash for Wii U, Melee, SF5 and Marvel vs Capcom. All of these games were super hyped and organized. Exept for one. Super Smash Bros for Wii U (or Smash 4) was treated like a Side-Event, even though it had the second biggest number of registrations. Everything was clumped up a tiny area, the Stream was messed up, there was no big screen at all. It is unforgivable that all the smaller games were well organized and Smash 4 for some reson got the short end. The Argument "But Smash has 2 games at Evo" is no argument, since they are two games with the same concepts, but with completely different game mechanics, histories and communities. I hope that they fix this major issue in Evo 2017.

Just as KBR vs Angelic was the crazy moment of Marvel, Smash 4 had other moments, more hype than the GF. Kamemushi run with Megaman, considered a "low tier" character, was really hype. He took a lot of big names, including ZeRo, at Losers Finals.

The Zero matches were kind of snoozefests though until he lost, and even that was just ok. Zero was dominating up until that point so it wasn't intense at all. Same with ChrisG's run on Marvel. You want intense back-and-forth adaptations and tight results.
