Actually the billion dollar company wasn't started by the son, it was founded by his father, the mother took over after he died then the son took over after she retired after she began running for president. As for the money, well given how the company brings in 10 billion a year, bringing in 20 million illegally and keeping it hidden, doesn't sound all that unbelievable. As for the mother not knowing, she a Politian, they don't ask question about where the money comes from they can then deny knowing how it was gained or being part of the illegal operation

A lot of comments have covered a few things(the laughing being annoying, the company structure). The script isn't the best ever but it's not bad. There is so much bee talk because the Beekeeper program is based on how bees operate. So it makes sense that they would use bee facts as metaphors

lol loved this movie… But the idea I got was there are regions of the country and there’s a few bee keepers in each one. Jason’s character had retired but stayed in the area and yes they even say that his replacement was not good.

This movie is quite a conundrum. On one side you got Hollywood heavy hitters, a lot of whom are overqualified/underutilized for such small roles. On the other side, all the other actors really suck. Like really suck. The FBI daughter? stiff as a board. The middle manager? campy in a bad way. The one-legged mercenary? Supposed to be intimidating but kinda funny and sad at the same time instead.

Hey from Ireland. The State as i like to call him..im a big fan of his movies, especially the Transporter movies but lately he has had so many Duds so i was shocked how good this was..i loved it..some people i know could not get past the jump to the President and his family involvment but i dont care, its not an Award winning movie but its so much fun and has quite an interesting and topical plot..I hope u enjoyed it as much as i did..I cant watch ur reaction video now as 2am here and im just browsing to help me sleep..Will watch tomorrow.as i said hope u enjoyed it..really like ur channel u guys..keep doing ur thing, except for thr fantasy role playing world u do, dont get it but each to their own..u seem like happy people and u always come with the excitement😊

The beginning of the movie is not all in one day. The old lady dies on the first day, and that night at dinner time Jason goes in the house as he was invited then the next day he attacks and burns the building then the attack at the barn happens.

Statham himself is dependably fun to watch...a total jewel. This movie, on the other hand, is possibly the weakest he's ever been in...for a BUNCH of reasons, most of which you pointed out. The core issue is that the writers basically just did a revenge fantasy vs. phone scammers...which hey...we ALL hate. No one weeps when a phone scammer is gunned down. Also...most of us don't really have a deep emotional bond with crypto bros, tech bros, or politicians millionaire kids. Basically, they just rounded up a collection of fantasy punching bags (while managing to make sure that the entirety of their phone scam/hacker world was populated by Americans...which...major plot hole...but nice way to avoid getting super racist from the get go) and let Jason Statham knock them down like bowling pins for awhile. About as well written as Sharknado. What saves this from being an incredibly lazy, completely unwatchable film, is that Statham is just so damn fun to watch. The action sequences and fight choreography probably ate into the budget a lot...which is a pity since maybe one FBI consultant would have improved the 'investigation scenes' by leaps and bounds...but watching Statham kick a&&...always worth it in the end.

It’s almost adorable how desperately Jason Statham wanted to be the next John Wick except this movie was wet hot garbage. Did they literally just kill an elderly Black woman for white man pain? Have her wounded and in a coma for the majority of the movie and then wake up at the end to find all of the money returned. Not that hard a concept. The writing in this movie was so painful and Statham played it so stoic it kills all emotional connection, I can’t. They also escalated the stakes way too quickly for this to be a franchise, the president should be the BBEG in at least movie 2 if not 3. The most wild moment for me was when Statham took on the SWAT team outside the second building and you can see a bunch of extras just standing around in the background like they couldn’t see anything. I think the point of the leaky FBI building was to show how underfunded and maligned this FBI office is which we then contrast with the following meeting with her boss, the second she mentioned the beekeepers he gave them whatever they wanted because he knew the president was connected to this. And I’m getting the feeling that all of the butthurt commenters, complaining about Nerdy’s laughing during this embarrassment of a movie, thought it was the pinnacle of cinema.

I think that overall, it would've been a solid movie back in the 80's/90's, BUT, after living and seeing that era, this movie feels weird. I miss the old Jason movies: The Mechanic, The Bank Job, Revolver, Crank... hell, even the last one before this "Wrath of Man" was quite nice, but something happend in here. Welp, despite all i said, i think it's a solid 6 nuggets out of 20 chocolate cakes, but i wouldn't get a second round of them.

honestly, the idea of this film was interesting but the execution fell a bit flat for me. i still enjoyed it though for what it was. i think it would be interesting to have a prequel series about how the Beekeepers came to be or maybe something like the Continental series. but thats just me. haha.

This was totally nuts for sure, but as a beekeeper I have to say most of the facts and visuals spewed about the profession is just as nonsensical as the rest of the movie. Really, you could substitute any other trades such as plumbing, and it would be pretty much the same. That said I did have a blast seeing the movie
