At 8:13 that photography is amazing. Looks like a really powerful and violent tornado! Don't know if it really is or if the dust cloud makes it appear that way, but shit!

Just found your vid today. I'm glad you're not one of the "screamers" out there. Great footages! May I suggest that you put the location on your compilations though?

I'm trying to understand if that sick feeling I get in my gut when seeing these tornadoes is part of a Hollywood induced emotional reaction like watching horror movies. Like, if I hadn't had that early negative exposure, would I be able to have a more detached and clinical response? And I'm not trying to say these things aren't awesome forces of nature that kill people either. It's just such a hardcore negative emotion that I feel like I need to decompress after watching. It's like a feeling of trauma from watching something scientific. Those storm sirens and the farm country ratchet up the effect. Like Wizard of Oz as a kid type scariness. I don't feel that sense of dark creepiness about terrible hurricanes. Even those smaller relatively harmless tornadoes still do it. I wonder if I grew up without television, whether or not I'd feel the same sense of supernatural foreboding? Usually when we see the scientific explanations for scary things, the fear element is dramatically reduced. But these tornadoes? Nope, not really. Their still creepy.

I live in Nebraska and no the feeling I think you get is primal. Here we can feel it in the air coming. The barametric presure, the color of the sky, the humidity, and tempature changes. You kinda go on high alert. The hair on the back of your neck can stand up if it's close before you even hear the siren which clentches your gut hard. Everything goes entirely still and the birds and bugs stop making noise. Then it's time for cover. Don't wait for the wind in my opinion it could be too late.

Great footage...too bad you only care about putting in as many commercials to the point that I gave up and went to channels that want to keep subscribers.
