November Rain is part 2 of the trilogy. Part 1 is Don't Cry, and part 3 is Estranged. These songs are loosely based on singer Axl Roses' love live and a book named 'Without You' by Dell James. Lots of symbolism in these music videos.

What I know about the song trilligy is The story is in a book called without you by del james and the coffin in the video there was a national search for it and it costed over $1,000,000 at the tome of the video being made going by Geffin records who financed the video.

Before you listen to November Rain from Guns and Roses you have to start with Don't Cry from them the first song they did as a group & after November Rain you need to hear Estranged the last of the three.

Love GNR reactions but I sure wish we got more of the deeper cuts (I know they probably don't get the views) Coma Locomotive Breakdown TWAT Don't Damn Me One in a Million (unfortunate lyrics that prevent it from be recognized for the fantastic song that it still is)

Good reaction to a classic. But just to explain the video, it was actually the 2nd part of a 3-part song/video series by GnR. Anyway, the story is, that Axl Rose's character had a fiance, but he cheated on her and she ended up taking her own life with a gun. The entire wedding scene is him dreaming of himself and his then-alive fiance actually getting married. But that wedding never took place. What actually took place at the church was her funeral mass.

Me and my children's mother fell in love to this song We had gone on a date. We parted and that may have been it On her way home her car blew up She was picked up by a trucker who made physical moves on her She fought him off and then convinced him to let her out of the truck. She walked a few miles on the freeway to a gas station and called me I picked her up After she calmed down I did what any GNR junkie would do and said listen to this. My CD was in the car so I popped in the cassette Before this song was over she was in my lap and we were in love That was 26 years and 5 children ago

Hi Brandy. If you are interested in who the bride is in the video, her name is Stephanie Seymour. It took me twenty eight years to learn that. I have never been able to find out who the maid of honor is, that is in the red dress. Two other GnR songs that are my favorites are, Outta Get Me, and (of course) Welcome To The Jungle.

I have always heard that the mirrored casket is because she blew the other side of her brains out in the short story Which affects me greatly because my first love had the same casket She died in a head on coming to bring me cigarettes at work only weeks before she was to graduate HS (she was 18 me 19 and we had dated since 5th grade) She was much too beautiful for me and much too beautiful for a closed casket. Sadly I find myself often wondering what if when I see her face today I am actually seeing the same side twice

I believe that someone had said that this video costed 1.5 million to make back in 91-92, making it at that time the most expensive of all time! GNR is the best!

No it wasn’t the most expensive at the time. It was one of the most expensive. Michael Jackson “Remember the Time” came out same year and cost $2 million+. It is the most expensive Rock video.

They don't make really long songs anymore? It's been that way since the start of popular music. Program directors don't care how great a song is, they look at if the song will fit into this time slot. Billy Joel said it best in "The Entertainer," I am the entertainer I come to do my show You heard my latest record It's been on the radio Ah, it took me years to write it They were the best years of my life It was a beautiful song but it ran too long If you're gonna have a hit you gotta make it fit So they cut it down to 3:05
