Nice puzzle! Just a small error in the video at 4:47. If the white king moves back to f8, yes black King f6 would be a draw but instead black would be playing Rh8. After Kg7 Rb8 black is able to stop all pawns and actually black is winning here. Great Video nonetheless!

No that does happen as after Rb8 then c7 and you can take the b pawn white just promotes his c pawn

Good question. Without the pawn on a5, 1.c6 is met by 1...Rb6, and then Black captures one of White's pawns with check.

the thing is, you don't trade when down in material, only when you're up or when you're equal and have the chance to either checkmate or mess up the enemy's positions
