I think a lot has to do with the photogs and model experience. The right poses, the quality of the lens, the use of light, and locations. I see it all the time. Its what sets you apart.

Your early photos showed more environment so I preferred thse however Prestons last shot was better as the model looked more engaged

I liked Preston’s pics more because he seems to know that to get better looking pics you have to get closer. You might have also shot more close-up, but maybe you posted your far away ones to have some contrast between your work and Preston’s.

I liked Ben's photos a bit more, cause he left room for cropping in post! Preston's photos were very good as well; but he shot the photos a little too tight! Leaving no room for possible cropping, and his choice of Lens for this shoot was INADEQUATE to say the least! But Overall! Good job Ben & Preston!!📷🙏

You shot with more of the environment which compemented your pictures so I preferred yours during the earlier part of the day however Prestons last image was very nice the model looked more engaged

Why not shoot w off camera flash? That would have made ALL the difference when shooting in low lit conditions.

Great information as always. Was a big fan of Preston's shots during this shoot. As far as video ideas. Maybe a quick video of you going through the photos from a shoot and talking through your thought process on why you keep some photos vs the others, and what made the non keepers bad.

Great video... Loved a little more the photos of Ben, but the ones on the stairs, Preston get amazing composition. Usually the 35mm get sharper images but with the 50mm you get more details.. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us..
