One thing's for certain......If the gate agent upset Kara, then she was a very poor gate agent! Take that to the bank! I loved the content, especially the stress of the 1 hour window portion. Cheering when Kara was exhausted, but said, "We made it!".

I love this! 3 weeks ago I went from Israel to Jordan. We slept in a bedouin, in Wadi Rum. In the sun it’s really warm but if the sun isn’t there anymore it’s so cold! Beautiful and the food was so good. The second day we went to Petra. We had a guide, he knew so much about the history of Petra.

i love how you don’t take ANYTHING for granted. you make it clear how excited and grateful you are for the life you have. this is why you’re my favorite channel. other channels complain about inconveniences when they travel, and though you guys experience more inconveniences than a piece of taffy in a nursing home, you rarely complain, and if you do, it’s only for a second and you don’t make it seem terrible, just a minor hiccup.

Well, to address 8:20 let me tell you about travelling FROM Africa and most of Asia! We ARE required to provide bank statements, booked accomodation addresses, return tickets and sometimes an itinerary before/if we even get Visas. So if you see us travelling, it's because we have shown proof that we have more than (on average) 5000 dollars/or title deeds and will be going back to our countries before the visa expires. And immigration is often not a very pleasant experience for us. That US passport should not be taken for granted. And honestly, if you have a US, UK, Australian, Canadian passport or any other with none of the frustrations the rest of us face, and you don't travel, I'm highly judging you.
@nataliekirhen425 жыл бұрын
You raise a very valid point, and one that many of us (I have a Canadian passport) take for granted. Thank you. Remember though that there are many other reasons people may not travel (financial, health, family, etc.). For me, watching Kara and Nate is at least a small way to travel the world vicariously!

also in some countries like mine, you have to have a valid workplace, you can't be just a traveler, you have to work full time somewhere and no not that shabby bar or sth like that. and sometimes prove that you have a car, a house. and a family in your home country. + all sorts of copies of our documents, i was once denied visa because i forgot to include stupid bus ticket from city to city on A4. they didn't let me print on their printers. going for a visa interview (sometimes 2), that heartbeat and anxiety until you open your passport to see if they granted you to visit their country:) even though its umpteenth time and you have proved yourself that you're not a wannabe refugee but still they'll act so. and visa doesn't grant us entrance we have to pass security guard which can deny entrance. last time I flied to Frankfurt I was appalled by creepy personal questions of security staff to people, like how much your husband earns, when did you get married.

Jordan is a very interesting country and a relatively modern creation. Currently the bggest problem there is the huge influx of Syrian refugees (1+ million). It is far more than Petra although that is why so many backpackers go there. I trust you showed more aspects than Petra, although that is an amazing remnant of the Silk Road. Ut fortuna tua peregrinatione partem.
