This was to bait in all those 80s shredders and crush their souls with pure mastery.

I agree bro. Kinda like false advertisement.lol He didn't rain on my parade though,, I was not an 80's shredder 😜😜

Lol, no raining on the parade, guys talented, reminds me of Frank Gamblle, i know im not spelling that right, but yeah nice playing. Definitely fusion rock vibe 👍👍

Lovely playing ben. I like your note choices. It's a very lovely happy major sounding with a jazz touch. I'm not very deep in theory, so Idk if I know exactly. lol I played 30 some years so far, no theory learning, which I don't recommend anyone do! I've been slowly learning theory after 30 years. I feel like I wasted a lot of time.
@beneunson3 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for listening! That's fantastic you've been learning theory - there's never a bad time to do that. I'm always revising concepts myself 😀

Free virtual big hugs here, love this Ben. listening to you play over the backing, nice backing I must add, after listening to you I went back to listening to a tune by Alex Argento called Embrace to the world, the tune gives me that same vibe Big hugs and free spirited vibe, Love your work.

Sounds so good, have been watching your videos all week, so much inspiration in your clips Ben, what are you using for an amp in this? Also what camera are you using? Just looks fabulous.
@beneunson2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much, I'm so glad you've been enjoying my videos! This amp was the Laney LA-Studio, and the camera is the Sony A7iii. Thank you again!

This is the most distortion I've ever heard you use. It reminds me of Vinnie Moore's tone on the "Time Odyssey" album...beautiful! Actually, Ben can we get a video of you playing "Pieces of a Picture" by the Vin man? Your style would really shine on that song.

Thanks so much Brian, I really appreciate it. Vinnie is brilliant - let me see what I can do! 😀

Ben its supercool once more, will you or do you think going for live streaming , actually im all about a way for chit chatting possibility wif my Tarzan dialect at best, in total like some discussion you might feel enticed, on the progressions you do the scoring underneath, like when you prefer sounding rather up top and when rather in-blend and how you define the main"alities" you save them as one...hazardous play for breakfast...
@beneunson3 ай бұрын
Are you thinking of a livestream where I talk a bit about playing "outside" of the harmony? If so, I could do that sometime soon! 😀

@@beneunson yep in total, "outside of the known universe", if you also think that way, i mean seriously...it means i think

Is this bait and switch? I was there in the 80's there was guitar like this, but in the fusion field. But who cares, when you love it!

😂 So glad you love it!

Your playing reminds me of Frank Gambale. Well played though, came for some hard rock; stayed for the fusion 😂
Great solo and tone. You could play on some Phil Collins and give Daryl Stuermer a run for his money in 1985... 😂

Sorry no insult intended. But I am not sure you know what shredding is.
@beneunson3 ай бұрын
You might be taking the title a little too seriously! But thanks for watching! 😛
@cankutbayhan3 ай бұрын
yeaah there comes the intended meaning issue, that thing up above is more of an indented one, so to define rather generally, and instead getting into its specifics keeping on shredding is rather viable for the most part of a lifespan...no offense neither :D
@cankutbayhan3 ай бұрын
@@beneunson Ben there was a video you were "improvising" with an LP, a small stage like some velvet curtain, taken from your right hand side...it was epic period...Yens Larsen made me notice that things on real life situations go crazy obviously...as it did with yours as well. it was truly extraordinary on any criteria, a sunburst Gibson it was!!!
