I cannot play that fast myself but I don't care. I play for the enjoyment of exploring new sounds / riff combinations and soloing to songs on the radio/internet. Play for your own self, not for anyone else. It should be a pleasure to play guitar, not a pride-filled, miserable competition and comparison of fear and/or embarrassment. :)

He also probably dedicated most of his free time to practicing and strengthening those finger muscles, repeating such things over and over for hours upon hours, whereas the others play for a hour or two at most, he did it 8+. lol
