I'm pretty sure these guys know exactly where they are at, all the time. Mike was impressive on that one run, and a total dud from there on out. He would have certainly been one of the first couple out without that run. It REALLY pays to do that up front where the chips are 5X the balls, whereas at the end it is one to one. And with the betting amounts well up at the end it doesn't take many shots to really change a players positioning dramatically.
@MrJdsenior2 жыл бұрын
NICE match. These ring games are always fun. Man, that one was a grind. These pros never give up, do they? If they fluke it with an extra couple of rails like that cross 10 of Hall's almost did, does it count? I would think so, but don't know. The four rail kick from Skyler was awesome. He looks so darn young here I almost didn't recognize him at first. Pretty obvious he could PLAY as a kid, too. I've heard him commentate a couple of times with Billy and it's usually funny. Lots of good insights, too. I wonder what Billy's hair looked like at this point? :-)

1:51:18 I don't know the 3-rail kick rule, could Bustamante have kicked the 9-ball by going back and forth across then hitting the bottom rail right before the 9 to tap it in like a rail first shot? Or is that not dramatic enough to count?
@Kandyman20812 жыл бұрын
I didn’t understand the ending, although I had it on mute. When they were playing at $500 per ball, and J Hall was down to $200, after making two balls he was only up to $800, then Busty only made two balls on the next rack and he was out.
@AccuStats2 жыл бұрын

Oh no!!! Shu up! I have to interject at 11:43 because you are way more than wrong. At no point, WHATSOVER is the phrase "Ka-ching" referenced, utilized, or inferred from any movie, including the movie "cars". In the movie "Cars", the main character, "Lightening McQueen" say's, "Ka-chow" and at no point ever does he EVER say "Ka-ching". It's "Ka-chow". A cash register has always made the sound of "Ka-ching", meaning money, when referenced to something VERY different referencing a money shot. You application at the specific time it was referenced was not only incorrect, it wasn't even close. damn

Just curious, on the 3 rail kicks, if the shot is made by glancing off a rail adjacent to the object ball to make it technically a 4 rail kick, does the shot still count? BTW, "Cha-Ching" was pioneered by Seth Green in the '90s Rally's commercials.
@faalonikdovah9822 жыл бұрын
3 rails, or anything over 3 rails, is a legal kick. Yes, hitting the long rail just before the object ball would be legal.
@neuvocastezero18382 жыл бұрын
@@faalonikdovah982 ok, thank you.
@geoff18272 жыл бұрын
I think that technically that would still be a 3 rail kick. If it goes off the adjacent rail it doesn't count as a rail. Similar to how if you are just regularly pocketing a ball down the rail, and it glances off the rail but still goes in, it doesn't count as a bank. I'm not 100% sure on this, but it makes sense to me.
@geoff18272 жыл бұрын
In other words, the last rail that counts must be an opposite (or non-adjacent) rail to the pocket.

why don't the next player chalk their cues before coming to the table. Almost everyone comes to the table and then waste time chalking their cues. Some even chalk their cues 3 times before shooting. Then chalk, put the chalk down, look over the situation, chalk up again & places chalk down. Surveys the table again & chalks up once more before finally missing by a large margain. One player even did the 3 times chalking & then miscues. Very frustration to watch.
